I am going all in with the Xbone now that I am a satisfied customer. Before they learned the customers didn't want what they were selling, I sincerely doubted I'd ever own one; now its as soon as I can afford one, which will likely be around the release of the next Halo. I never wanted a PS4, but I was going to get one anyway before the 180's Microsoft pulled.

I thought it was amusing that once again all the "forum whiners" that the xbox one fan boys bitched and moaned about, successfully forced Microsoft to give them more. Effectively helping those who berate, belittle and bash them on a daily basis.
No one was taunting anyone Shadow. Nor Yem, was I "complaining" that Microsoft did a 180. I was laughing at it, because we all knew that they would if enough of us held them to task. Instead of thanking the people who forced Microsoft to put more into the box then they had intended, we're attacked as killjoys who only want to complain. That's nice, enjoy the free headset on us guys!
As for buying one, that's still not for me. Not until they reverse the Kinect decision and that I'm sure will not be forthcoming so Sony has my business for this go round'.

sorry, but this is ridiculous and I never read a thing that said that - because it's so insane. How would that even work? that makes zero sense whatsoever.
You cannot use the console with Kinect disconnected. However, it plugs in because why would that ever be a better idea to have to try and thread the whole Kinect instead of just the end of a cord from it? It'd be a nightmare with some entertainment centers to have it permanently plugged/attached to the console instead of being able to do that yourself.
I'm thinking pre-order numbers had a large role in the consumer friendly changes. Obviously they saw what was being said, but if pre-order numbers had been very strong they might have stuck with their original thoughts.
I didn't really think the headset was ever an adamant "not going to have it in there" thing, but it is nice there is one. This headset sure beats the hell out of the earcord that PS4 comes with. That thing looks like a bare minimum of functionality, comfort not included.
