Again another slam at my agoraphobia. You know what? Fuck all of you people. Enjoy your dead forums.

Be sure to shut the door on the way out.

While Azure's tone was rather extreme, his point remains the same.  While I understand Free's position, I don't understand how he preaches non-violence against women but has no problem with violence against men in videogames.  Men and women are both subject to violence and hatred, and it could be due to their gender, sexual orientation, skin color, hair color, piercings, tattoos, etc.  Why single out one and not the others?  It seems rather contrarian to be against one form of violence and not another.  Preaching anti-violence against women in video games yet playing the Mass Effect series, Bulletstorm, Fable, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, the Dragon Age series, etc, all which contain some violence against women, makes it difficult to take your position seriously.  GTA is a sanbox game.  You can play nearly any way you want.  When I mow down pedestrians in a firetruck it doesn't make me suddenly steal one and recreate my playing sessions.  When I pull out my purple dildo in Saints Row and run around the city smacking people with it, I don't have the urge to purchase a footlong rubber to flubber people on their way to work.  If you believe GTA is endorsing violence against women, then nearly every video game is endorsing some form of violence.  Same with movies, books, music, etc.

Saints Row treats women better. Play it.

And a little part of me would die every time I killed a grunt in Halo. They can barely defend themselves and are running away half the time while muttering words like a little child.

That being said I do have a copy GTAV and will start playing it probably this weekend. The lack of a female protagonist is a bit disturbing though.

Holy fucking hell. Why does anyone give two shits what anyone else's opinion is? He stated his opinion, and asked if anyone else felt the same. That's IT. He didn't say if you play the game you are *insert derogatory name calling stuff here*. Disagree with him? Okee doke. That's your right. But why freak the fuck out about it as if he called your mother a whore or something?? Jayzus people. A simple "I disagree, and here's why" would suffice.

Fucking fuckety fucks. I'm sure you all have giant penises. There's no need to try to convince us of that by bashing someone for their opinion about a VIDEO GAME.

Azure...How were you baited? Civil question. The dudes comment came first, then you came out all guns blazing 80

Exactly the same discussion on another thread has been managed without the vitriol and hyperbole shown here...Shadow there has indeed been posting in a more chilled manner of late, You on the other hand do seem to play out some anger issues. Relax man it's just a gaming site. You really don't need to fuck us all and our dead forum. For a start I don't swing that way.

Edit..re reading you didn't come out all guns blazing...took a few posts. But when you did LOL

I see that GTA V has generated controversy on our forum.  Also, everywhere else on the internet.

Bring back the love.

Also, trying to change the subject......the iphone ifruit app is working again.  Not much fun and I never use Chop in game, so not sure what the benefit is yet, but hey, good news!

I love everyone here.  Let's be friends.  Also I drank a lot of beer tonight.  If everyone could drink beer together on the internet, it would be a much more civil place.

You have no idea how hard it was to drunk type this post with no spelling errors....

im so sick of having to pay for halo crap, even though I bought the extra special legendary "you'll never pay for any maps ever again" edition. (Yes, I know. They don't actually say that last part but dammit it's implied!)

No more season pass/prepay/etc stuff for me.

So wait, the guy defending the fact he can act anyway he wants to in a sandbox "game" and it doesn't affect his behavior in the real world, is afraid of the real world? And yet he constantly bangs the drum about "real" pretend ownership of a game versus "digital" ownership of a game,  while both are simply licenses or leases as you will...

Holy shit I wish I was still in Psych class...

I personally can't abide GTA anything and don't purchase it and that's as far as it goes. If you wanna jump on and flog it, whatever. It's my wallet. And here's the real trugth of the matter, you're NOT going to change my mind. I don't care what other wallets are doing.

ZK, hugs!

I can't decide if I'm most proud of my fellow 2o2p commrades for all jumping on one guy in multiple threads or relentlessly making fun of his anxiety disorder.  So proud of all of you.  You really are the heroes of the internet.

Allow me to reciprocate an expression of admiration in your direction, sir. It's takes a special kind of selflessness to vocalize pride in "all of us" for the actions of just a few, I feel privileged to have earned your admiration without effort. You, sir, are the true hero.

Now, Monkey, I'd never jump on anyone that didn't do some jumping of his own...that aside, you may have a point...I'd humbly suggest you dig a little deeper.

I am not completely up to date on internet forum etiquette but isn't Radical the one trolling this thread? This a thread about being excited about GTA V. He jumps in, posts something negative about the game, and then leaves after the shit starts. Maybe he is just a baby troll?

Played GTA V this weekend and it is a beautiful game.

I see nothing in your post professing excitement for the game, just some name calling. Should we crucify the heretic...burn the troll, as it were? I disagree with your post, especially the name calling, but I support your right to voice your malevolent opinion.

Oh, you wanted to to post something negative and contradictory to the topic while burning someone else for doing the same thing. I apologize for interfering with your self-inflicted hypocrisy. Carry on, amigo.

Don't want a nit picking slap fest, but I read Rad's first post and he asked a question, stated he'd played the first 4 versions of it and then questioned his own moral compass.

Is that truly trolling? I think if someone looks hard enough, they're going to see what they want, and we all do it, I know I do, and sometimes it takes hours for me to realize I did it.

Jones, you remain as always, my idol...

I agree, we all see what we want to see. My own filter is clogged full of personal idiosynchrasies...add that to sarcastic personality and you can see why I am so often misunderstood. To be honest, Rad's first post pissed me off a bit, and I can understand why folks were vocalizing their disapproval so vehemently, and I've been guilty of that same behavior in the past, and will almost certainly be guilty of it in the future. Thanks for sharing, amigo.

We've all been a that point Jonsey (I know I was) and I'm a hothead to begin with so a lot of times I let my mouth engage before my brain does.
