There wasn't one that I was aware of. I think they just decided it's now or never and just went for it

I nodded placatingly and typed out some supportive drivel when they claimed they'd be releasing v3 during the recording of the last podcast, but I never believed they'd actually do it.
I figured it was just something they say every now and then, like "yes dear, I'll take out the garbage" or "I'll go to the Procrastinators Anonymous meeting next week".
Now I can't figure out what happened to clan forums. How can I be social and outgoing if not in a private, mostly empty forum?
we announced it last week in our Think and Thin video cast and posted it up on Twitter. But that is about it. Probably should have put it up in a blog or FP or something. Most people do not go in the main forums or read the FP.
But I let Doodi know to post in more places for future changes.
Also keep in mind things are not done yet, so more changes are coming.
