Pap, ran the Fairlady in the S/D multiclass public lobby Sat. night and not only ran well all night (dominated), but ran at Laguna, beat both classes...

There must have been some heavy bumping in S class to let you win that one :-)
Great results!
OldSchool: do you have a particular track(s) you'd like to drive this car on? Or a general category of track (short, medium)? It looks like it might make a nice Ring car...
It may be my ham handedness but it's a tad twitchy. Someone like Cotter would probably curl up with it and get it to purr, but I'm not quite as surgical. I reacts to sthe slightest inputs ( steering), I lost it down the Mugello straight once...
I think this is truly an amazing car, and anyone that doesn't have one should grab it, it's cheap at 110,000 fredits, and I can post times comparable to the 312P Ferrari. I see you kep the stock HP, which with the weight is certainly adequate. My cobbled up version is closer to 620HP with suspension closer to stock, and it's a tad loose too. Of course it has those ugly damn rims...
I agree it's twitcy. I'm continuing to work on it to see if I can get that dialed out. Just letting you in on the process :-)
My unqualified guess would be to start with the differential? I't a biotch when entering a corner, and I have become better at down shifting and braking before turning the wheel (D class Nissan FTW!) but it's still a handful, and I do realize this is somewhat due to crazy HP vs No freaking rolling weight. ( Honest).
Another big thumbs up here for the Fairlady tunes.
Grabbed then all and, like others, am enjoying the D class hoppers where I seem to be doing reasonably well! In fact I like it so much made a C class tune which is pretty good and even working on my own (very first) paint job! It must be love.....
Have rated them as well I should add.
I have a few cars now that i have tuned but they are no where near as good as that being produced by your good self, I sort of get to a point where they platou and then start going backwards would be interested in your opinion on how I could improve them if you have time. More than happy to gift them across for your parousal as I am keen to learn.

Thanks for that Paul_Y!
My time is pretty limited for playing, but if you pick one car you want some help with feel free to fire it over. Let me know what you're experiencing with it, and what you want to improve.
Trying several things with it, but limited results. Thinking I must have botched it up really good I drove it stock. Nope, it's pretty bad stock too.
I'm beginning to think that this is going to be a TCS car no matter what I do with it. I'll keep at it for a bit more though to see if I can make it nice.
What I am trying to do is learn by getting the car tuned to the best of my ability and then comparing it with how you owuld set the same car up to try and find the missing 20%.
I will gift you over my personal B class favorite the 66 Nova and would appreciate your comment and guidance.

Love it!
Gonna wrap up the last tune for that soon OldSchool. Tonight I was lapping Infineon NASCAR doing the RWD Rivals challenge in the Quattroporte.
Can you do the 510 next?
Scratch that, can you do one of these, max R3ish?

It runs strong on the long stuff and yet handles quite well, so longer tracks for sure, but I think the Ring would rock!

Ran it on Le Mans(new) and it ran quite well, I want to take it to Mugello next.
Hey OldSchool,
I sent to you a work in progress. It's still got a tendency to snap oversteer so I'm trying to dial that out.

Rumor has it, Fitzy's gonna pay double for this one...
Hey Pap, you wanna co-ordinate a release maybe?

I drove it stock, posted some PB's with it. Was just hoping to get a little more out of it.

Ptr,
Sent you over a FR so I can share my tune. I know it sounds a bit geeky, even on a gaming forum, but I am quite excited to see where this goes!
