Hey gang I'm going to have to cancel this week's race. I've got family coming over7 I'm not expecting them to be gone before race time. So we'll pick up next week unless someone wants to run the race for me today.
Had set up a room to run some practice laps when Cobra and White popped in, hence my above post. Sorry Max, was not my intention to steal host. I was getting some lag off of Inkabod and Abyss. Not sure how it was for the rest of the room, but I might not be the best hosting option.
Ran a 20 lap race. Cosmetic damage, handicaps optional. Cobra tested 5% reduction in hp and grip. He also turned off the braking line. You might want to check in with him on how that works instead of a 15% hp reduction. It was fun watching him relearn his braking points.
Have no idea who the top three were but since this was an "unsanctioned" race I figure it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Won't be able to make next week's race so have fun at whichever track you pick next.
That makes 3 votes for LeMans, so LeMans it shall be. we will run the newer version with the bus stos on the Mulsanne Straight. We will run this race with no handicaps because it just wouldn't be fair to handicap drivers with these long straights.

We ran Handicaps in the V8's the other week at the new Lemans.
All the faster drivers have to do is ensure they get a toe down the straights, then pull away as normal in the turns.
Even if a non handicapped car catches up on the straight all you have to do is slot in behind and let the toe carry you.

Could always run no power handicaps but grip handicaps.
I apologize gang, but I'm going to have to postpone until next week. I have been feeling shitty all day & now I'm feeling pukey. So I think I'm going to throw up & then go lay down for a bit.

Sorry to hear that Cotter.
I am happy to host if people want this to run or we can wait til next week.
if you want to run it, fell free, don't worry about handicaps this week if you're not sure how to set them up.
I have a room set up if anyone wants to join in.

Just a reminder that it's raceday folks.
I'll be a few minutes late starting warmup today. I've got to run a quick errand.
Where we racing tomorrow?
I might join also...Making slow comeback from Battlefield...
EDIT:. oh wait, the daylight saving...Does that mean that the race starts 1 hour later(here in Soviet Europe)??
Nurburgring Nordschleiffe, no handicaps today.
Daylight savings doesn't kick inhere until tonight, so today's race will be at the normal time.
Won't be able to make today's race.
