Need a group
Okay, not really a cry for help but I do need help getting through some things.
I don't really have time for a structured guild, having events scheduled doesn't really work for me and I don't want to burden a group with my irregularity. But, I do need a small group of regular players that don't mind getting together every now and going through flashpoints and such.
I've been playing ToR primarily with my younger brother (Well, he's in his late 30's) online. We've gotten about as far as we can get with several of our characters playing as a pair using followers to fill the gaps. Doing the daily grind has been fun but we're looking to get into the hard mode flashpoints and playing operations to get the better gear.
My brother PvP's and Warzones. I don't. I'm looking to start with a new character.
While I'm aware that I could simply put an announcement in general chat looking for a group, I have a low tolerance for douche-bags and definetly DON'T want to play with a group of kids. I do like to talk and I don't want it to be about how they like boobs or some juvenile angsty bullshit.
So, if anybody is willing to do some flashpoints and such then PM me and we could figure out a schedule, I'm on most days in the evenings through early the following morning when on days off (night shifter most of the time).
I'm new to MMO but my brother is an old hat at it. He has a full spectrum of character types. Most of mine are DPS but I'm working up a tank (republic) and a healer (empire). I have level 50's on both Empire and Republic on The Harbinger.

I was going to start a new character or two in order to start fresh and try PvP and Warzones. Jumping servers is a possibility for that but since they reduced the servers I think most of them are full aren't they?
My server isn't full that I'm aware of. It's usually listed as "Heavy". Even so, I don't think they limit subscribers to joining since you're placed in queue 1st. Not sure about that though.
I'm also on The Bastion, on either Superstarr or Folle, I'll give ou a hand.
Carpe Diem
There are still a couple of player types I haven't explored yet (currently I'm learning how to properly run a tank). I'll start a new character on the bastion and try to hook up, sounds like most of you are running on that server anyway.
Since the last update I've been having a lot of fun using equipment grabbed from the Cartel Marketplace. being able to pop a high level crystal in a weapon or off-hand at level 10 is always nice. Plus, some of the level 15 kit is really good (all purple mods, yipee).
The boost consumables (increased xp stims basically) are marvelous. I started a trooper tank last weekend and had it up past level 10 before finishing the final missions on Ord Mantell. It's nice to be able to skip some of the more annoying filler missions (the kind that break up the rhythm of the story) without sacrificing too much xp.
Meanwhile, I'm going to try and take my chances using the group finder (yick) for my Harbinger characters.

That's good to hear. I have republic characters in the 20's as well. I'm experimenting with tanking so i have a trooper (lvl 28? I think) and a DPS Gunslinger at lvl 27.
I had a Jedi Knight at lower level that I'm tanking but we really grinded out some levels the past few days and he's at lvl 39 now.
I also have a couple of Imps in the 20's also; an Inquisitor (Good grief am I enjoying the smiting of mine enemies with lightning) and an Agent.
Here are the names:
Adn, Lvl 27 Gunslinger (Tatooine). Kali'osun, lvl 20-something Trooper (on Nar Shadaa).
I'll do a character search for you later today.
I can also provide names for my lvl 50's if you have any you want to grind out some of the higher level game content on.

Oh, BtW. The HK-51 quest line DOES have a hardmode flashpoint. That's the only thing we are unable to complete. Maelstom Prison is fairly easy right up until the first real boss character and then we are stopped cold. Just two of us with lvl 50 gear from dailies just isn't cutting it.
