I have spent entirely too much time working on this car. I hate FWD cars with a passion however I think I may have tamed the beast. Time will tell though
Anyone willing to share their tune setup? Im still way off the pace with this FWD car. Could also be the track as its tough for me to be consistent on it for some reason
Well thats interesting. Im a good 1/2 second faster with my tune over the stock one but still some 2 seconds off the pace as Im only getting into the 49's. Must be me and this track then. Thanks for the info guys.
I'll throw mine up later as well, and will try to get on later tonite to run mock race after parcells room is done, I'll try to jump into the euro room this afternoon I might miss the first few class races as the wife gets home shortly after 2 pm mt
That makes up for the 2 seconds you're quciker than Parcells on the Monza track Grimm so it all evens out. Actually you had 2 seconds over me on Bathhurst too so...bring on the short tracks!!!
is there a mandatory pit? And in the op it says custom tuning is allowed but tuneable parts are suspension and gears but iam unclear if that means aero is to be left at stock. If so iam not sure what those are cause I believe I changed it
What happen to your Thursday weather report for the race church? We ran a mock trial after the thurs nite track race and noticed that with multiple weather changes the track build up was odd....the race started with a wet track no rain, dried up than pissed rain for a good 10 laps before the track even started to get wet again?

My bad I didn't have the grip setting to real wich would have made all the difference. What we ran last night no mater how much it rained we would still be able to run slicks. I just had some room settings messed up :(
Church, get your act together and tell us what the weather looks like outside your window today else you may incur a points penalty before the series even starts! Collectively I think Grimm and I can overrule you???

Only 2 days left before race 1!!

I tried to tune it but just messed it up I'm back to running stock :)
Also doing 47's but using the stock tune so nothing to share..may have changed the final gear but don't recall to be honest.

As Kurupt says where is the weather report
As Kurupt and Stevie said, "Where is the weather report?"
@ Stevie it wasn't the grip level setting it was the fact it rained for 10+ laps and the track remained at 0% but with water spray coming up ? :)

How did u get a half soaked road with no moisture? Your roads flooding lol
No its been pissing it down for the bast 5 or so hours and has just stopped
Church - Can you confirm the "Grip Reduction on Wet Track / Track Edge" setting (Real or Low)? Makes a HUGE difference in how to prepare for the race
That's the good thing about not being able to tune, I just turn up and race!
Before answering Church consider...any answer except "Real" means you're a pussy!
+1 :)
Has nothing to do with tuning but rather tire management and at what point can you take on race tires
