Even streamers like Ninja, who makes his living streaming Halo, have given up on the game. Ninja's Twitch channel says he only plays when he's practicing with his team because basically nothing in the game works.
I've been playing multiplayer consistently since launch. Alone I get matched up easily into any play list 9am to 2pm EST. Most Thursday nights I play with a small group of people usually. It used to be larger but is slim now. Sometimes we go into matchmaking as a party of four and it goes pretty good. Other times it's just OK. If you come in the party with patience and knowing it will have some sort of problems you should be ok. If you come in thinking eveything is going to work perfect you will be dissapointed. If you start going off about how the game is broke and all that which everyone knows, the party probably won't last long and everyones experience will be even worse.
Anyone who wants to get in just send me a message or just join up to me. We used to play some pretty fun custom games untill the crowd grew too small.

Unless this big update is so big that it needs its own series of updates over the next 3 months before it works.
So Star Wars Battlefront will be up and running before this game I swear.
