So, I hear that the pulse rifle is really crappy, but maybe it can be salvaged with the right mods? I'm really lukewarm about Iron Banana this week, though.
Besides, I want to look my best when dead in Destiny.
Laughed Out Loud. You hit the nail on the head, we spend a lot of time there, right?
My girlie Titan (Mabel) wants to have everything looking just right when she gets shoulder charged off the side of the map or popped again in the face with a Felwinters...
The Iron Banner grind has been much less for me this time. Two characters to level 4 and one to level 3. I expect to get one more to level 5 tonight, but not sure I'll worry about the other two.
This IB has been a lot of fun and less of a grind, especially playing with some of the Over 50 gang. We won 9 of 11 games last night - really nice job, guys!
Tonight I'll knock out a few of the bounties and hit level 5 on my third guy.

Dang, I missed the fun.
I'm still a short leap away from 5 on my Titan. I'm not happy with the progress. I've been completing bounties and playing most days and even playing well above my normal. It's just not adding up.

You did a great job the other day - usually ending the games we played at/near the top for the team. I finally managed to get 2 characters to 5, both Warlocks. The 2nd was easier/faster cuz he got all the gear the first one earned. Won't even try with my 3rd character. I don't do Titan as well.
This was my first time to get somewhat serious with IB. Competition can be intense at times when the score is close. Don't see that as much in regular control games. Winning matters...
Got all 3 characters to level 3 with little effort. I didn't have as much time to dedicate to this as the last time. I am hoping to get at least one character to level 5 today.
Now all of my FWC (aesthetically pleasing lol) armour is lvl 34. I no longer have to agonize on whether to choose a weapon or armour for etheric light. All weapons all the time from now until TTK.
Also, I no longer need to think about light level when switching out exotic armour.

Got my Titan to Level 5 and almost got my Warlock there. Was 3 bounties and a couple of wins away, but ran out of gas. Regardless, I got 4 etheric lights out of the grind and now have 2 banked in the vault to be used at my leisure. IB is fun...for awhile.
Made it to 3 etheric lights as well. One leveled the Titan up to 34 and I haven't decided what to do with the other two as yet. Also glad I systematically cleaned up my weapons inventory a week ago or else my vault would be overloaded with all those new IB weapons I now have.
Feel free to share which IB weapons you plan to keep or dismantle and why. I purchased Jolder's Hammer machine gun and heard good things about Party Crasher +1 shotgun (I have solar; impact looks similar to Found Verdict)
I got the IB rocket launcher Radegast's Fury. Was told to roll it to include "Grenades and Horseshoes" (instead of tracking) for the Crucible. So I did. The roll included the "Clown Cartridge" perk as well, which fits.. Actually, the Clown perk works about half the time you get ammo, giving you a 5th rocket.
When using a rocket launcher, I had always used a tracker in the Crucible before... So, I was skeptical of the non-tracking Grenades and Horseshoes perk. After running two characters to 5 in IB, I'm now a big believer. Just send the rocket on a trajectory that takes it close to the opponent. If he ducks in behind a wall or doorframe while the rocket is on its way, it'll pass by where he was and will detonate if he's close enough. Works great. A tracker would track him when he goes behind cover and then just impact against the wall, causing no damage. You can also thread a narrow space with the rocket if you know your opponents are near that path, and the rocket will thread the needle. I've gotten triple kills that way. I used one of my Etheric lights to take it to 365 for IB, where leveling matters.
The Iron Banana is back starting today at noon central.
Who's ready for the grind?
Me and with all those point generating aesthetics.
That pretty much simplifies the schedule for the next few days -- golf, IB, IB, golf...
May do it until Trials starts up on Friday. I'd like the pulse rifle in my Pokemon collection.
Ready for IB since there is a 0% chance of my ever getting anything out of Trials.
I'll be adding the chest pieces for my collection, maybe pick up the pulse rifle.
IB is for me.
Irritable bowels?
ill be running the iron banners
might do trials if the map doesnt suck
It can't be worse than what we had this past Trials, with Black Shield. Ugh,
I actually have time to see if I can make it to level 3!

The gear does not look impressive at all. I played a game or to last night but I don't know if I will be going all in this IB.
You customization people. Who gives a shit about what it looks like? Shoot faces.
I wasn't talking about the asthetic of the gear, but the stats. Nothing seemed that great to get.
Dix-----> DIAF

Funny Yem. Anyways, Plan C is rocking it in IB, I guess I'm the one who is irritating bowels now with arc damage!!!!!

Finally got to level 34, thank you IB!

Really enjoyed the comraderie this past week!
