It's not that bad, you can download a tune and load it before a race starts. So if you see a name you recognize, you're probably ok.

You do have to be in the car you're looking for a tune for.

The only thing I don't like about the current systems is IF you DO have a particular person you like to favor, you can't simply see all their stuff at once. Seems to be the major drawback to me, but it's not a game stopper.

Just based on the pop up when you buy a new car, the recommended paints thingie, I'm closing in on a million credits and it's not day been 48 hours. I've not done any of the usual photo/T-10 paint forum advertising yet. So I guess getting stuff out there early IS a boost, if the paints are anything like what I saw in Forza 5, they were horrendous. Weird thing was, there were awesome paints out there, they just didn't pop up in the recommended app(?).

Awww man, i was hoping that element would have changed...its crap - I'd much prefer to see whats out there instead having to be in a car first - I like to buy 'funky' tunes so sommat a bit different. Much easier to see a full SF.

ah well, I won't be jumping in any time soon :(

Like everyone else has said this game lives up to its reputation. Very solid fun game..they made alot of improvements, graphics somehow keeps getting better. My TX wheel seems more responsive and stronger in this edition than it did in FM5, loving that. But my wheel will occasionaly think its a game pad controler. Meaning my paddle shifters become rear view camera, and I have to clutch and shift with the buttons on the wheel. Gas and brake on my pedals work but the clutch pedal doesn't. I will have to unplug everything and connect it back up. Anyone out there with a TX having this issue?? Also sometimes when Im going into a corner the car will feel like my steering is locked up and it is REAL hard to correct. I dont know if this is a tuning issue or the wheel itself is acting up.

I had this problem when I was racing online and using a gamepad for the headset along with my TX wheel. I fixed it by changing the gamepad settings in Forza to use layout 6 I think. (I'm not at home now. Pretty sure that's the one, though.) Anyway, choose the layout that matches the button mappings for the wheel.

I do use my controler for my headset and I have the controler plugged into the Xbox so it doesnt fall asleep. Dont know if it matters but I turn my wheel on before I turn my controler on. The layout for the wheel is the default layout, which everything matches up (gear up/down) is that what you mean??...Ill look at the layouts tomorroo. Thanks

I think I turned my wheel on first but I don't remember. I remember that when I shifted up, the rear view would pop up. When I checked the gamepad layout, it was on the default which did not match the shift button assignments on the wheel. I found a layout that matched and my problem went away.

I'm using a Fanatec universal hub with Fanatec CS sequential shifter and I'm having a issue . When in a race after the count down to start the race the car will start at a high gear for example 4th gear and at other times on 2nd basically all over the place. On my assist settings I have it on manual without clutch .

I love the game.  The car and track selection is amazing, might be the best ever in a racing game, only rivaled by GT6.  The graphics look great, although there is still some aliasing at times.  The FFB and physics with my TX wheel are excellent, I can definitely feel what the car is doing more than Forza 5 or FH2.  The career mode is good fun.  The main career mode is very linear, but the showcase events let you do what you want when you want.  The online multiplayer leagues are great, the racing seems to be much cleaner in those races than in the general multiplayer.

I just wish I had more time to play this wonderful game.

In game, FFB and Vibration = 100, DOR = 540.  On wheel, default settings.
