Vix, I agree and I wish I'd had a chance to stop your original post and chat with you first. Like Dixon said, it's water under the bridge and time to play on your own terms. Stiff upper lip and all of that. :)

Yeah, the days of fun, clans, and practice is all out the window.

Yep, stuck with Deep as custom night overlord now!

This is the first CoD that I have no interest in at all. I just can't get into these games I always find myself have fun with CoD games for a month or so and going back to Halo.
I've been playing ricochet lately and I think this is the best gametype Halo has ever had. I could play ricochet and flag all day.
I still own World at War, which I thought was a kind of cool game considering they haven't gone back to WW2 since.
I've also got Black Ops 1. Just barely got into the multiplayer when the next iteration came around. Too rich for my blood.
Nowadays to get into a multiplayer game, you almost have to be willing to subscribe to the entire franchise. Every DLC, every new game... My wallet (and gaming time) can only support so many franchises at once.
I could never get into COD and it always gives me a headache. I've never been much of a camping style player so that probably doesn't help.
Ricochet is my favorite objective gametype ever. I could never get the hang of oddball and while I like CTF, I don't like the changes they made to CTF. There's rarely anything better than scooping a ball out of midair as it's being thrown into the zone by an enemy and launching it away then taking the thrower out.
Still, I find playing ricochet with randoms to be incredibly frustrating when faced up against an actual team.
Edit: PS, had some of the best Halo 4 games tonight that I've had since the game came out, working strats and being tryhards with positions and callouts (gawd I love that shiznit!) thanks to everyone here that joined in, I'm still pumped enough it might detract me from sleeping. I'm such a Halo nerd...

Reminds of that game we played on Ragnarok last Thursday. The one where we were getting ours asses kicked back to sea base and then we started working together and "communicating". Loved it. I don't mind loosing games like that. Exhilarating.

We did bust some people up last night.
If we can improve one thing over all though, it would be playing more than three games in 2 hrs.

Fun times indeed, wish I could have stayed longer but early starts this week unfortunately :( Regular times for hooking up?
For anyone curious, it was just an apology, nothing inflammatory. I think the right people saw it already, and that's all that counts. I sent them private messages also.

Deep, Dixon, and Pontiff - Thanks a lot! I am definitely up for some good games. I appreciate it.
Just needed to clear the air so people don't think I'm saying anything behind their back or whatnot.
Halo is dead or dying. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. October 5th can't get here fast enough IMO.
what's Oct 5th?
Call of Duty: Ghosts release.
Uh nope, that'd be Nov 5th.
Damn site i looked at was wrong :(

That sounds like it could have been a legitimate name for Halo 4.
THIS. CoD 4 made me want to punch babies. I still owe 3 people a straight arm dick punch for convincing me to buy it.
Everyone's a critic.
That's for damned sure. Yay, Internet.
rofl
I just want to clarify that I do not own COD4 and I most certainly did not recommend Kit buy it.
LOL!

Good suggestion. Nuking this post.

For the record, Old n Achy was RIGHT :)
Thanks Dixon.
That's probably best left to private messages/email/chat over Live. Let me know if you want me to nuke that post.
