Well, as nice as it is to see some traffic here again, let's keep the bellyaching to a minimum, please. We don't want people to stay apart. We want people to mix a lot more, and, even though this isn't my cup of tea, this is an attempt to do so.
i think if everyone gave theses maps half a chance they would really like them. i bet the game settings make it an even better experience.
i'm not a BTB fan either. the biggest reason is the lack of good maps. if it weren't for anniversary maps, they would all suck.
i've played on two of their maps and saw vids of two others.
better than anything bungie made.
the tweeked setting should be fun too.

That's 11 so far. I'm trying to hash out some dates on MT's website and then I'll get back to everyone here for possible dates.
My hat is not really in there yet as I was hoping to get some Over 50 people to join me. It'll be Tues. Before I can get a feel for their interest. Old n Achy is about the only one who checks the forums regularly.
I believe I said I would be willing to play. I also believe this should be set up as a mixer. Would be nice to have teams where at least some are "pros" at this. Show the rest of us slackers how to set up and control a map and a game type in btb.

i still like the idea of the us v them. then, like Laser said, [B][I]IF[/I][/B] it's one sided <insert rolling eyes> we can mix it up. it shouldn't take very long to see how one sided it is, but i would still like a shot at them just for shits and giggles.
I'm down for 4v4 or 8v8. I will play 4v4 competitive because I think we could put a strong team together. 8v8 on the other hand would be a massacre and I can see people rage quiting, bitching and other bs like that. I would love it if you(laser) maybe had an intro to competitive BTB. A night where you could walk us through some of the custom maps and set ups.

Possible tentative dates are the 29th or 30th of June. That allows a couple weeks for the maps and gametypes to be hashed out, do some walkthroughs as Jim suggested, and give ample time for anyone that really wants to play to make some room on their schedules. Plus, I work the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th and what kind of mixer would it be if the person organizing it can't make it? Let me know which of those two dates work best or if neither or both work.

29th, same as Wam, although I am having an eye procedure done. At present don't think this will be a problem.
30th, anytime after 4PM.
I'm still interested. 29th cant do work that night. The 30th would be best for me, since I'm off that night.
