2Old4Forza at the Chicago LAN
I'm going to be attending the Chicago LAN, as well as a bunch of folks I've never heard of...where are the Forza guys? Is anyone from the 2Old4Forza clan going? If I drive to Chicago and spend an entire weekend getting ass-raped by a bunch of Halo guys who don't want to play Forza I will return the favor in order of proximity...Anubis, you're first since you are definitely in driving distance and you no longer have a getaway car. Seriously though...who's going?

Knowing if Jonesy finds out he lives only 30 miles from the event he will follow through on his threat. oldmodelt knows that he can't afford another year like 2011. The way SJ would punish him would hurt much worse than the crap the doctors put him through with the 2 colon resections. He decides to play on SJ's sense of compassion and inform him that oldmodelt has 2 swim meets and is still digging himself out from under the medical and other RL bills that were dumped on him (pun intended). He will however kiss ass as that hurts a lot less.
You live 30 minutes from Schaumburg and you're not going? One of the Halo guys sent me a pic of an angry Ewok with the caption "Prepare Your Anus" I'm not sure how I'm supposed to prepare for something like that...moisturizers, maybe? I'm sure I will be in no shape for revenge sex during the event and you'll have to wait your turn. The revenge tour will probably happen during the summer. Anubis will still be first...I've been looking for an excuse to go back to San Antonio anyway.

Changed your mind about what you wanted to say, eh. Seriously, if you live that close we should hook up one night...I kinda wanted to go to the riverboat in Aurora and we're definately gonna head into the city on Saturday night for some adult fun...probably pizza at Gino's and then some drinks.
Unfortunately I have to work Fri/Sat/Sun eve from 4-12 then turn it around for 2 swim sessions (officiating not swimming) on Sat/Sun am in Munster IN (about 30 mins from my home). I come home on Sun eve and die If I can't get a nap Sat early pm I skip the Sun am session. It's the one time I do this a year now. From now on I only do one am session per weekend if there is a meet. At 55 the body doesn't bounce back like it used to. And the 2 surgeries didn't help.

Cool, amigo. If we have a LAN next year I'll probably rent another car...I have a Charger reserved for this year but enterprise likes to fuck us at the last minute. I ended up with a Mazda 6 for the San Antonio trip and a Jeep Patriot for New Mexico. If you can make it to Funkytown next year you can ride up with us and save some gas, or maybe we can catch the train or something.
