You wouldn't need a roll off if people relaxed a bit going into the first turn especially, and were more worried about contact than taking a position. It's more about clean racing and respect for each other. There is only so much you can do to even up the field and you shouldn't try too hard doing it. Some people are just slower and some faster than any handicap system can make up for, deal with it.

I've only been to two races and in both of those races the above sentiments were taken seriously by everyone I came across and it sounds like the other races went as smoothly so all these changes Cooter may or may not make shouldn't change much so keep up the good work everyone!

Some Great Racing last night. Race Points sheet updated. And in light of Max in regard to his dropping out of the room with 2 laps to go and his modesty, I gave him the points for the position he was last in prior to getting kicked. To make it fair to everyone else. I gave everyone the same points they got at the end of the race without Max. So there will be an extra 10 points slot for Mugello, just for Max. Everyone agree with it?
ALSO CONGRATS TO COBRA ON WINNING AT MUGELLO AND becoming the new points leader........
This should be a rhetorical question but on the assumption it is not Parcells agrees with what you state but I think Parcells should be awarded an additional 4 points towards last evenings results. Yes I already gained a couple points because of Max dropping but I was also going to pass Cooter for an additional place had Max not dropped out...here's how it played out...
It became fairly obvious I wasn't getting by Cooter unless he screwed up when Max snuck up behind Parcells. Parcells held off Max for a lap or so but it was obvious I was losing ground to Cooter in doing so and this is when I devised my master plan. I professionally allowed Max to pass Parcells to make sure the stewards had no idea it was intentional on my part,,,I really nailed this fake pass, without a doubt the best acting I have in me.
From here the plan was (and the plan was working perfect until Max dropped and ruined it all) to stick close to Max as he approaches and attempts to get by Cooter and BAM out of nowhere Parcells would pounce and take the two of them for a surprise and voila 2 positions for Parcells. But what really happened was Max dropped and because of that my planned was foiled once again.
So I'm claiming an extra 2 points for taking your position Cooter and an additional 2 points for the emotional loss suffered in the race having lost my closest competitor at the time (Max) effectively lessening Parcells enjoyment of an otherwise very enjoyable race. In no way am I accusing Max of any wrongdoing here the mishap was totally out of his control and only now, in the end, does he understand he was an unknowing participant in Parcells bag of tricks/schemes.
Hold on a sec, I need to get my feet up as I dont want the above bullshit to get on my shoes because its deep. Although I do have to say I loved the plan Parcells!

Sorry I missed another event Cooter. One would think that a "quick" stop at the mall to pick up a repaired cell phone for my son would take less than 1.5 hrs, which would have allowed plenty of time to make it home for 9pm, right? WRONG! Made it home about 9:15. Hope to make it next week at Infineon.

Cobra, I tried your calc on my lotus last night and it was just awesome. As for making it easier for the use on smartphones, yes please, if it's not a big deal. It's just a little big on the phone. Makes for alot of scrolling back and forth and up and down. If it turns out to be a big deal, don't worry about it. I will keep you posted on my future sucess' or failures with the calc.
The tuning I used for Infineon also runs really well on Catalunya GP if anyone would like it. I was running consistant mid/high 1:55s to low 1:56s within 5-6 laps and no handicap. Katpeeler was having similar results with it.
I have The Stars n Stripes and the Union Jack, don't have the Maple Leaf yet...
If anyone does have one, I'd really like a copy.
