[FM4] A550 Street Mods - Monday Nights @ 8pm EST
So I've been free most weekdays after work recently, Max and I have recently been booting around ideas for a new shindig on a weekday evening to try and stir up some good racing. I've somewhat settled on a concept and I'm posting this up to get some feedback.
The basic idea is you can choose any car in the game to use, but you must meet the regulations...
- Initial vehicle cost may not exceed 60,000 credits.
- PI must be A550
- SPORT PARTS ONLY. No race parts allowed except RACE BRAKES. This means you may build the car to meet the 550 PI cap using only sport parts or less. No Forza aero, race weight, race gearbox, etc.
- You may change the wheels, wheel size and width, and bodykit options if you wish.
- No drivetrain swaps. Engine and aspiration swaps are cool.
That's pretty much it. We will run multiple races per night with the option to change cars in between. I encourage you to build many cars for this, you won't regret it. I will just randomly select tracks, unless someone has a request.
Let me know your thoughts, if there is enough interest I will make it official. Also if there's enough interest with the Euro guys, I'm sure Max wouldn't mind hosting a room as well

You know I want to do this, but I still think you'll need a minimum weight restriction, max tire size and a max HP restriction to keep things level.
Like, Minimum wgt around 2900-3100
Max Tire - Sport - the front and rear tires should be the same size or the rears one size larger only.
Maybe I havn't done enough testing on this.
But I think we can all agree that ( HP - WGT + Tires = Speed )
To make it even more personal, how about limiting the brand to one that you or a familiy member own or as close as you can get within the limits defined by drivebye071 since not all manufacturers may exist in the game
you want I should make up some American sports cars, since you dislike the GMs and I love em. you know so you don't have to get your hands dirty. I'll build one each of them although i was sad to see the Buick GN is over the 50,000 credit limit.
@ Skiwi- Sounds like a fun idea, maybe we can use it for a one off race at the end of the season or something...
@ Adikt- Build whatever you want man, I'd like to keep the vehicle cost limit where it is or close to it. I'll have to check to see how much that Buick turd
is, if it's close I could bump it up a bit.
Anyways, I'll be on tonight to maybe build some more cars and run some more testing. Hit me up if you want to join in.
Further testing has resulted in the following:
1. PI bumped up to 550
2. Initial vehicle cost bumped up to 60,000
3. Race brakes are now allowed for the sake of setting up personal preferences.
4. Engine and aspiration swaps are allowed. Still no changing of the drivetrain.
We've had a good time so far building cars. Everything I have up to this point is a blast to drive. The idea of having multiple shorter races per night with the option to change cars in between was bounced around to add to the fun factor. Since there's really no tuning involved it's fun to bounce around from car to car.
Damn now I'm going to have to change the name.......
Hopefully i will catch up with you during the week Drivebye. I want to build a few more of these cars and do some testing with you dude. These cars are pretty awesome.

Alright, I've created a nice little fleet of cars for this. They're all really great too.
I'll be on Monday nights at 8pm EST to host a North American room. I hope to see some cars on the track, there's a lot of good times and great racing to be had here...
