Say Anything - There is a secret switch to turn the reef's postmaster lamp on and off. ...I want a secret switch at the tower that appears with any bad engram reward that says... (X) execute cryptarch!
I'm sorry if anyone sent me invites I didn't respond to, my sched. IRL is hurting my Destiny TIME!!!
I still need to complete VoG and Crota - (started VoG but couldn't finish). And willing to try the harder PoE. Hit me up, I hope to get some play time in Thurs. and Fri. this week (7-16 - 7-17) - JAMN
You definitely need Ghorns for the level 32 boss fight. We only had one (me) and with the mic problems I was having we had to go to game chat and our third couldn't hear us. Bottom line, we had to stay alive, take out the "special" Dregs and other adds, drop the boss's shields a little and rinse and repeat. Our base was the far left side, but if we were getting overwhelmed, we made the circuit route around the outside. Running the "circle" also helped when one or two died. Gave the living member time for the revive countdown to end.
When the special target came out, I went after him. Once he was gone things got a lot simpler. We took the servitor down past half way health; then I pulled out the Ghorn and nailed him.
I saw a surprising thing agains that servitor. I planted a bubble next to him and may have cut his health by 40% after one shotgun attack. Imagin three people doing. It's worth an experiment.
Try killing all the adds but one. Then unload everything you have on the Eye. Once you get him below half health, the target will come out. Let one player go after it while the other two finish the Eye. If necessary, they can help with the target once the Eye is dead.
We did this with just one ghorn. I used tracking rockets and ice breaker. Being level 34 really helps.
RNGesus was kind to me in the nightfall today. Etheric light! I used it on my old 300 Prestige HMG. 450 rounds of max speed, face melting magic. I can hardly wait to use it in PoE! I could have used it on something better but it's like my old buddy.
Amazing. My meager little YouTube channel is closing in on 30,000 views. The Abyss solo walk thrus are still getting views and the VOG solo door opening video is approaching 4,500 views (4,464) which tells me there are still newer players out there.
I started the channel to record my attempts at Halo Mythic campaign runs back in the Reach days and continued thru H4 (and back to H3 and ODST) then on to Destiny, but never thought I would have over 300 videos recorded.
The fail was strong last night while trying to play IB. We were able to manage a few games, but we also spent a lot of time having people or the whole fireteam kicked to orbit with various "newt" errors.
I don't know if it was a Bungie or and XBL issue, but it was certainly frustrating. Then, of course, the usual bad connections in IB games.
BLAM, AARP and myself were lucky enough to knock out PoE 34 last night.
Thought all the newt problems might sink us after 1.5 hours of pain and suffering.
We encountered one Newt error when trying to start an Iron Banner match, but I didn't have any other network problems last night. That's actually unusual - I usually get popped by a Weasel every couple of days on average (uh oh - did I just jinx myself for tonight?).
Ouch! Very frustrating when one loses progress because of network issues. I would expect more of this as M$ prepares the XBONE and XBL for WIndows 10. Then of course there is always Bungie server issues and Bungie blaming us. Almost a perfect storm.
Was swimming in a sea of newts (wouldn't even let me go to the tower), when I spotted Chaos and son on XBox 360. I switched consoles and left the newts behind, playing Iron Banner on the 360 without further incident. Adem West and Midnite Aurora send their greetings.
We played against a real lag switcher last night. His/her character would just run across the screen doing nothing. Nearly impossible to kill but persistence could win out, usually when blocked by a wall. Of course the lengthy distractions enabled the other team to kill us. I never noticed the usual rubber banding of intermittent lag. The other thing we noticed was that character's score was second highest on their team and the KD was the highest. We reported him/her.
I hope my luck at PoE 32/34 is better this week. My record at helping people sucked and the common element was 'me'.

Up for NF and POE tonight (and today -- raining so no golf).

VoG has been taking a beating this week. We helped a few first timers get through too.
I'm getting better at Relic handling.

Site that ranks you based on number of Destiny hours played:
http://wastedondestiny.com/xbox/
Found on the Destiny subReddit. (Can be set for Playstation as well).
I'm at rank 9149 at 509 hours played. I may have to quit my job to catch up to the leaders.
Rank 5070 at 892 hours played. Wonder if it also counts 360 time.
VoG Hard mode, beginning to end. That relic practice we did last week really paid off.
I got Vision of Confluence and Hezen Vengeance for the first time.
Just in time for them to go redundant with TTK.
Good game last night DEEP (and others). Had a little frustration set in at Atheon, but we finally prevailed.
I hope to be online tonight for some fun. I'd be up for doing VoG or Crota on Hard.
36 holes of golf yesterday left me too tired (and hung over) to get online, but I should be available tonight for whatever
I'll be looking for some action but the time and timing are a little iffier on Fri evenings.

You videos are very good Achy. I know I've used them for both Halo and Destiny. Keep up the good work!
Effing Bungie and their server maintenance...
Some nights may be lightly populated but Mondays doesn't seem to be one of them. My FL was into the third page for Destiny.
People trying to finish up their weekly stuffs, I'd wager.

Except its all peer to peer, and Azure servers aren't being used in Destiny, as far as I know. Titanfall or other Microsoft exclusives, yeah.

Did Bungie write somewhere that they were going to crack down on network manipulation?
They banned a bunch of network manipulators yesterday
