I seem to recall from way back when that the exclusive content would become available to XB1 on the anniversary date of the game's launch - a couple of strikes, a couple of guns and a small number of armor pieces.
Finally got through CE hard a few nights ago. Took a bunch of do-overs at the end fight, but we finally did it. Getting to Crota was comparatively easy, but getting Crota was the hard part. So many opportunities for someone dieing or a glitchy Crota not cooperating. Got the "Word of Crota"! I'm happy. The sword runner deserves the biggest portion of praise.
You guys will love Hawkmoon btw, I've never got a 4th horsemen so no experience with it.
Watched that. Definitely funny. One thing I have learned about raiding with 202p peeps. Never go afk for more than a few seconds or weird things begin to happen to your character
I'm kind of doubting it. At least not in this version of Destiny. Maybe once old-gen is dumped.
I know we probably will never see anything of the sort, but Id love to see a list of things that were changed, scaled down, or just completely cut from the game just because it counldnt work with the old gen systems.
Finally!! I was able to do the second lamp rock jump with my Warlock. I maxed out agility on my Sunsinger and equipped and carried the multitool with the lightweight perk as my primary. When I did the rock jump I angled it a little towards the lamp. That gave me the "tick" or two to get enough boost before the weight killed my glide. Video below. One note -- some "entity" made a "visual" copyright claim on the 30 seconds that I was running across the bridge and into the light. WTF? You need to be a copyright lawyer to dispute a claim nowadys so I did a short tweet about it. No response yet. Bottom line. Ads may appear in the video. They are not mine.
I was thnking that you were going to tell us that you don't have to stand near the crystal to summon Crota at the end. If you just hold a boombox over your head and hum a few bars of "In Your Eyes", he'll come to the window where the boomers hang out. True story.
Achy, that's a completely different angle of attack you are using. I've been going more right angle to the wall with my Titan (regularly failing).
I'll give your jump a test.
Achy, that jump from the rock looks easier than the way I've been doing it - the difference is the sharper angle and jumping right from the point of the rock.
I also skip that second to last lamp before the bridge. I have been using the lamp right at the bridge to get my weight off. But I have not been able to get up on that taller rock so usually hit the ogre with rockets from the shorter rock next to the lamp.
I'm going to give your method tomorrow after the reset - thanks for posting that video.

That short rock next to the last lamp. I re-discovered that you only have to be squatting (a bit on the far side) when the lamp explodes.
Totally had forgotten that from my previous successes.
The perfect 2nd lamp jump still eludes me. Achy's didn't pass the Titan test, for me.
The remote method was developed primarily for hard mode. It's relatively easy to keep the team alive and kill the Templar on normal when staying below in the conflux area, but it's much more difficult on hard. We've been doing the Templar fight on hard lately for the rewards (i.e. Fatebringer), but we always run it from above. You can shoot a rocket in the second or so between the Templar's shield being taken down and everyone being contained. Timing is tough... Glad I have Sunsinger. There are no respawns otherwise.
Was in the Atheon chamber the other day by myself poking around. Found a couple spots where you can easily get to where you are safe from ground fire, but can poke out to shoot from a flanking position. The spots are the tops of the angled pillars on the top level of the Atheon platform. I don't know what would happen when Atheon begins teleporting guardians.
I got my Warlock across the jump puzzle a while back using all of the agility perks I normally use in the Abyss... It's wierd at first, and causes your timing to be way off because you run, jump and glide faster/farther. I overshot the pillars several times till I slowed down and made the jumps more deliberate. You can also keep up with sprinters in the Gorgon maze without sprinting. Was kinda fun...
We ran the Vault on hard a few weeks back and did the remote method. I was the relic holder and it was a lot of fun. We had some issues at first, so tried doing it like normal mode and quickly went back to remote. Will be running it again tonight. We are taking a raid noob with us, so not sure if we are doing hard or just going to fly through normal mode.
Deep, the Titan jump is more diificult without the multi-tool, but if you have the ice breaker equipped (the weapon actually in your hands) with the lightweight perk set you should still be able to do it. I will try that out to make sure, but you also need the Defender sub class set up exactly as mine in the Titan solo video.
With any of the characters with maxed agility the jump up to larger rock is not much of a problem. It is even easier if your equipped weapon has lighweight set.
I have noticed the short cut bypassing the next to last lamp but have always been concerned that it will cause Thrall to spawn. Good to know it doesn't.
Update: I was able to do the Titan jump with the Icbreaker equipped using the slightly angled to the left jump.
First!
I keep forgetting that the Sony exclusive content will be comint to XB1 this year. Anybody remember what all it is?
Something to look forward to.
2 strikes and a couple exostic weapons, hawkmoon, 4th horseman and a couple others
We definitely need something new, although raiding is always fun, even when it is frustrating as hell.

Sounds like a John hughes film.
You think Destiny 1 will ever see custom lobbies?

It would be awesome to do PVE for 16 firends.

Yes Achy tell me more about how to enlarge my penis. Anways great job!
Got caught up on my Dead Ghosts. I had about 10 remaining and I might never have found them without that ghosthunter website.

awsome video Achy. cant wait to try this.

Last night saw the old folks in VoG yet again. This time was different because we used a more remote method of attack at the Templar.
I remember, when we first made an attempt months ago, some people suggested staying up above. Seems they should have been listened to.
This remote method is much more managable.

Playing without the soundtrack is both satisfying and uninspiring. Anyone else turn it off since 1.1.2?
I hate in game music, I can't wait to log in and turn it off.
Personally I turn off all music in any game.
Noticed this last night. I need to turn down the game audio. Getting hard to hear party conversation.
Anybody else notice Blades of Crota not spawning on Earth except in the Fist of Crota mission?
