I've been doing a bit of racing with J and the guys online.  Very cool!  i got an invite to join the club, but its still giving me the "servers are down" notice.  I've tried at a bunch of different times and over a period of a week or two but still no dice.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Dave

Same here.  I even emailed the tech support a week ago but nothing.  (I'm not expecting much from the email anyway)

I do belive we can get guys in the Euro Club.

If you remove the invite message from jcotter send me an Friend request on Xbox I will send you an invite to the Euro club.

Mavik was having the same problem but got straight in on the Euro Club?

If you both can get in the Euro club maybe theres an issue with the American club?

Hi there everyone (or anyone)

My name is James MacKay, (that would be MacPaige1 in xbox,)  My wife now realizes that she made a big error buying the xbox for me and that it was compounded by getting me a used copy of Forza 2 in January 2012 (but that is her problem.)  I now have 2, 3 and 4 but when I found assists on the newer version got into them and cannot yet outrace myself without them, most of my "online" experience is in rivals, I don't seem to be so good in crowds (although I keep insisting that others see me as a bank on a pool table.

I'm 65, living in Burlington Ontario Canada, love instruction manuals (I find them really useful with this forza stuff and with the 2old2play website.  Checked out some of our forums but I get a sense that the guys with the healeys are way beyond my racing limitations, however, somebody has to fill the last half of the finishing order.

Haven't figured out how to find anyone on line to join any races, but once I do finding the right crowd will sort itself out.

Welcome James. Isent you a friend request from my main tag. I'll also send a request from our active members tag. You can view either one of those tag's friends in order to find other members unitil you've got some friends on your own list. I usually send out invites to everyone playing forza whenever I start a casual llobby. If there's anything you need, just ask. You won't find a more helpful bunch of folks than what we have here.

Hello everyone,

yes ..... finally .....after more than 4 months of opening this thread JDANKERT saw and read it and ........ now I will tell you, why I didn't left this group of guys and why I am depressed, if I have to travel for work and sleep in those bad hotels without an xbox and wheel.

Joerg Dankert is my name and I have a problem: I am German with bad english.smiley I am sure someone (parcells?) will rule out, what the real problem is. German or english. Anyway....

I am 49 years young, have a wife, who is older (50) and we are happily married for ..... many years. Our son is thirteen and I occupied his xbox, since I've found this community. He, my son, is everything for me. My reason for life. The family is completed with a 5 years old dachshund. A lovely "guy", who develops everyday more to a very own minded animal. I say"sit " and he's ...... doing something else. Only if we are walking through our forrests - I live in lower saxony, near a natural reservat, somewhere between Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover - he is at my side and hears every command I give him.

I earn my money, which seems to be never enough, as a freelancer in training, coaching, consulting and speaking. After studying economic I made a so called career, became very ill, layed in bed and hospitals for months, decided to start my own business, lost money to "honest" busines partners and then changed everything. I threw my career away, made a education in a consulting company, got a zertificate as "change mananger" and never was ill again. Okay, the money is away and I am only working for a living, but I am happier and follow my heart!

That's why I love this community. Here are some strange, kind, wild, ...... brave, crazy,...... aliens and human beings, who are very sensitive, carefull and ..... well, I have to admit ..... something lovable. Clear, fair, but hard and intense racing always happens. I heard about it, because I am always at the end of the field, I never experienced it. laugh But the great thing is ...... you all let me race with you. Even as my first headset gave up, as I destroyed the cable. It was during a crash in the first weeks. I will buy a new one, if ....... time and money is right.

Since Forza 4 is my first experience with sim racing. My wife sometimes looks at me with a strange look. It seems that I am on my way to be a "drugged" man. I had man hobbies, but this new one is on it's way to be a "obsessive" one. I can assure her and you, that I am very groundy. My life wasn't a easy one, so I know what is really important. If time is right, I will race and if my wife, my son or my dog need me, I will ...... stop and ...... come back later.wink

Hey, my wife calls for dinner: Have to leave!

See you!

JDANKERT

Hello All!

I'm a motorhead out of Miami, Florida. I love cars, bikes, and anything with an engine. I have an affinity for classic cars and bikes. I'm currently restoring a 1971 GTX. I'm also working with my Dad restoring a 1946 Indian Chief Bobber. I've also recently gotten back into electronics and am putting the parts together to build a tube amplifier for my stereo. I'm a bit add at times, too many hobbies. Gaming, wrenching, soldering, photography, shooting, whatever I'm into that day.

As far as Forza I'm a big fan of trying to race odd cars that I don't see very much of online. I'm trying to put together a class b '59 Cadillac just for the fun of trying to make that boat handle. I'll drive pretty much anything though with a preference to rear wheel drive front engined cars.

Thanks for letting me into the group, and hope to see you guys on the track! I'll try not to get into your way too badly.

-Raul

hi,im frankie,im from north east scotland (dundee area).im 40 and have been playing videogames sice 1981 when the atari 2600 was the latest must have with cutting edge graphics, how times have changed.

I like a variety of games but its the racing genre that i enjoy the most.i have fond memories of chequered flag on the spectrum 48k,nigel mansells grand prix, pole position, all the gran turismos and latterly the forza series.Im currently immersed in forza 4 and am on most nights for several hours 7pm to 11pm gmt roughly.ive been doing my own liverys and tunes though i freely admit im still a relative novice and would really like to get a better understanding of a full tuning setup,i understand the basics its just when toe, camber etc comes into it i start to get  a wee bit confused and the handling goes a bit pear shaped on my setups.i enjoy as well doing my own liverys and putting them on my storefront (room for much improvement there too, lol.)

I mainly circuit race, will give any class a go,am currently trying out the R class cars which i have neglected a bit from launch.my 360 gt is p MAD HATTER q,im also on the PS3,my tag on there is brabus47,ive got several games for the PS3 still lying cellophane wrapped sice christmas such as dark souls, skyrim and battlefield 3 because ive continually been on forza 4.hope to get round to them soon.

Send a fr on either platform and i will add you, hope to see you on track soon.cheers.wink

Well hello there Folks . Im Irish  IM ancient married and a geek not in that order . Have been asked by Tournie to drop By and have a look round and must say am impressed .   So to the facts I can be fast but am usually slow as I dont like knocking People off . I am a total wheel user using a Fanatec on cockpit view no assists by choice not to please anyone or Kudos . Only downside is I drive cockpit view so I cant see anyone on the sides  so have to spend a lot of time watching the distance meter.
