Great! No adjustment to the Geth Shotty. I figured that would have gotten nerfed. Doesn't supprise me there was a buff with the SMG and AR. They just can't do enough damage.

I don't think they nerfed the turrets/drones themselves, but how many of the enemy forces will be trying to shoot at them at any one time. Ideally this means they can last just a bit longer.

The problem with this buff on the turrets is that being they cut down the amount of enemies that engage them, they are not as good as a diversion anymore.
I pulled off a solo run against Cerberus the other day with my Geth Engineer, the turret came in handy because it distracted multiple enemies so it was easier to pick them off.
Now the turret distracts one or two and the others just walk by it and keep coming for you.

Nobody cares how long the decoy lasts, all they're supposed to do is distract the enemy. Now that they nerfed it, not much reason to play the salarian engineer anymore.

Damn, I didn't think about it untill now but Taco is right.

Last night it got hectic on silver because the turrets were not holding hate on Brutes/ Banshees like normal. Gee, I wonder what the cap is?

The didn't nerf the strength or duration of the turrets/decoy, just the number of enemies that will be distracted by it.  So now maybe you need two of them to do the work of one?

We ran two engineers and a salarian infil last night and Silver wasn't too bad between the decoy, the turret, and the drone.  not as good as it once was, but if you run an extra engineer/infil, you can probably adapt.

I dunno if it's a good idea to devote half the squad just to distracting the enemy. Might not be so bad on firebase white in that one room, but on most maps you need the damage.

Seriously, this is ridiculous. No other MP game I've ever heard of changes the "balance" of the game this often. Why Bioware? Do you have nothing better to do than sit around and dink around with it? Man, that EA payroll must be nice.

Well to be fair it IS easier to increase weapon damage than try to explain how Joker crossed the solar system in a matter of seconds with crew members that weren't even on the ship.

I am really surprised whenever i hear people complain about Bioware making changes.  Your complaining a developer is supporting their game regularly.  There are games out there and gamers that would kill to have their favorite games supported ongoing.  I look at this as Bioware, the core company, doing what I always enjoyed about them, standing behind their games.  Do I always agree with their design decisions, no, but hell at least they care to support not just turn out new content that still sucks which costs more money **cough** IW **cough**.

Also I love they change up the stats on everything.  If I only played as a Salarain Engineer since the game came out, i would be done with the game already.  But no, it forces me to be the most skill class like the vanguard etc..

i don't know,  my opinion...

But the stuff that NEEDS fixing they've ignored. Like that glitched ammo box on the reactor map, banshees going invisible, vanguards flying and falling through the map. Stuff that actually would take effort isn't being done. But they're more than happy to click on the geth rifle and press then number 4 to make it look like they're doing something and improve a weapon.

I wouldn't say a word if the changes they made were necessary. It's like if you have a clock in the room that's working just fine, but some idiot gets up every 5 minutes to "fix" it. He's not fixing anything, he's just being an annoying turd. That's what Bioware is doing. They're just messing around with stuff that isn't broken.

Yeah, I dont see the point in any of these so-called fixes either. It's like they get bored and just start tweaking shit to see how it effects the MP community because they can.
