Hello everyone, Troy here AKA Jarhead. Xbox Gamertag Jarhead xSSGTx. I'm 47 yrs old and have been playing video games since pong was released. My first racing game that I considered a simulation was Indianapolis 500. I used a joystick to play that game. Got my first racing wheel in 1997 and used it for the old Papyrus NASCAR and Indycar games. Since then I have had over 10 wheels (I lost count) for PC, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. Currently using a CSR Elite wheel, Clubsport pedals, and CSR Shifter mounted to an rSeat racing cockpit. Have had nearly every racing game on the original xbox and xbox 360. Been using a wheel so long, I couldn't do one lap on any track with a controller. Even played Forza 1 with a Fanatec wheel on the original xbox.
Kids are grown, so I have a good gaming schdule. I work Tuesday - Saturday during the day and wife works Tuesday - Saturday at night so I can do whatever I want except Sunday and Monday which is husband/wife time. Even then I usually get some racing in since the wife gets tired of me easily. Played Forza 4 exclusively for the first couple of months it was out. I always liked online racing, but the public lobbies are a crap shoot at best. Found 2O4F late last year on the FM.net forums. Greatest group of racers I have ever met. Been involved in a few series and even created one myself. I now have expanded my sim racing to the PC playing rFactor with the GBR guys. A really great game that doesn't need a fast computer.
I will be around a while. Don't post much, but I'm always lurking in the forums. Look forward to more racing whether it be organized series or pick up games. Send me an invite anytime you see me on Forza and have some racing going on.
My name is Mark. 55 and live in the Chicagoland area. Came over from GT4 (which I loved dearly) when one of my sons bought a 360 and FM3 came packaged with it. Found 2O4F website by chance and have been here since then. XBOX GT is the same as my clan name. Got lucky. Can't paint or tune to save my life. But a big fan of Full Sim Damage. Makes a man out of you. Nothing like doing an hours worth of racing only to have it ruined on the last lap. Keeps you honest. And gives me a chance against the speedsters. In training for a swim meet in April 2012 (Full Sim results). Recent accomplishments include two surgeries (scars included) and over 65lbs lighter. Plus, my wife thinks I look sexy in a speedo.
I've been with 2old2play for a while now, when i first arrived J showed me the ropes and got me invovled with racing. Gizzie then helped me well on the way to actually being a racer, teaching me the finer points of racecraft.
During my time here i've been on a hotlap team HLR, racing instructor and event cordinator for the EUSL. I started the EUSL to get people hooked into a series and give the new people a chance to race with the "big boys" without being in competition with them. The EUSL was to let the fast guys help the slower guys and keep some good competition in the clan, however the game is actually very limited for league racing.. go figure!
Hey all! Longtime lurker not much of a player lol I joined 2old2forza when I first got GT5 and I played with some of you on the PS3 side. I dropped off and played some other stuff since GT5 dropped but recently I got a Logitech G27 racing wheel (I was just a pad driver before lol) so now I'm getting back in to racing around :)
Currently I'm playing GT5 (PS3), iRacing (PC) and Dirt 3(PC). Might look into a few other games (want to try pCars and rFactor 2 betas/alphas). I've also been experimenting with some head tracking software (FaceTrackNoIR). I find I like it for flying - not so much for racing. I just prefer to have a button set to look left / look right.
Anywho I'm having a riot! and look forward to racing / talking shop with you all! Playing with a good force feedback wheel / pedals / h-shifter is crazy fun.
If you can forget about Parcells sarcastic remarks regarding your prowess (or lackthereof) in the bedroom we'd love to have you join our Thursday night GT5 sessions. We have 8-10 racers just about every week and could always use another if your interested. We have a discussion thread under the main forum page and a corresponding detailed event thread in the Series and events sub-forum...both titled GT5 Thursday nights, you can't miss them. If you have any question just ask we'll get them answered.
of course if you can't let my sarcastic comments pass maybe you shouldn't show up cause quuite frankly I can't control myself and it's bound to happen again

lol I think we might be cut from the same cloth :D I will try and make it for sure! Thursday's are usually a little rough for me but I'm going to try :)
My name is Ryan, Im 26 and live in the Staffordshire area, I work in my partner's family owned business and we have 3 children, this also means I do not go out as much so Forza has now taken over my life.
I run no assists bar clutch, and use a Fanatec CSR wheel, im not very good, but am a clean racer as I have been around forum based racing for a while now with F1 2010/11 and Forza 4.
Im level 81 so do have cars so dont have the problems that some have when starting out fresh, Im not much good at tuning, I like to dabble in painting (although i cheat and use SF vinyl groups!). But i enjoy racing.
Gamertag is ry8114, hopefully will see some of you guys around soon.. Will have a look on the pages now and see if there are any events..

Welcome aboard fella. Please follow the link below for this months events -
Just follow your time zone on the left and the days you can race. If there is something you like just click on the text and it will take you to the correct topic.
Hi Ryan good to meet you, I'm pretty new here myself, but i can tell you it feels as though I have been here forever, the guys here have helped me out so much and I am imroving all the time, there a few events being run or about to begin with the novice driver in mind, Stock racing, Fairlady cup and EUSL v3 which is for all classes, anything you need do not be affraid to ask someone will help you out, as they have me. I look forward to meeing you on track, I send you a FR.
Its just a tune I grabbed off SF, I will find out where I got it and let you know, Its great in the publics wins on nearly every track, but hey if I share my secret weapon that means I will probably never beat you guys again, what the hell, its yours, Anyway I got a nose bleed that high up the field Shadders knows his place
also guys, is there a Forza drivers club i can join? I am currently in a drivers club, but it is solely focused on JDM A600 lobby races, and to be honest.. I find it a little boring after a while! doesn't help that im the slowest drivers in the club by a good margin (all other drivers are consistently top 1-1000 times in most events i'd say!).
If so, I'd be happy to share some of the cars that I have that are worth sharing (as most probably aren't!). Who would I need to speak to to get an invite? or do I have to do a number of events with you guys first or something.
Forza drivers club? I think this IS it... oh wait, if you mean an IN GAME club, we have 4 currently, based on time zone. There's a East, Central, West and Euro...
As for entrance fees, required minimum races, n such...no. If you see something up in the race section you like, sign up, they'll figure out where to put ya!
Someone will fire you an invite to the 2O4E club, thats the european side of the club, you dont need to do any events to get one, looks like I'll be rubbing paint with you as I run towrds back of field aswell, Mind since I have been here, less than a month, I have comfortabley knocked a couple of seconds off most of my lap times on all circuits, the help these guys will give you will give you an almost instant performance boost, they are a great bunch of guys, always so much advise freely given to help you improve, no other place like this in my opinion

Sounds like music to my ears, In the forum im currently in there are roughly 3 groups of drivers in terms of speed, and I was a little unfortunate as I was quicker than the slowest, but not really close enough to group 2, led to quite a few lonely races, which can get a little tiring.
Great bunch of guys though! some have helped me quite a bit also!
Looking forward to getting involved, as I have 3 children so my nights are baiscally Xbox 360! lol
been here before , left for awhile , will back racing soon
work for a restaurant (maybe , not sure what is going on , may be facing a career change here) and going to school part time (this semester my major is criminal justice , i'll let you know what i change it to next semester)

Anyhow, I'm off to venture around these forums and try to get up to speed. Also, that MyForzaGarage setup by Psyber(?) is bitchin.
real name Simon White hence the imaginative GT ("Swhite014"),
I'm 34 and live in Manchester in the UK, having recently moved from London. I am married with 2 kids, aged 2 and 4. Joined the clan not long after Forza 4 came out and wish i'd found it sooner, coz its brilliant!
Other interests, aside from family, are music (spent 17 yrs DJ'ing in my spare time and am a bit of a self-confessed "Ibiza-addict") and windsurfing (possibility the most frustrating passtime known to man, particularly when you live an hour from the coast in a part of the world that is just not that windy!).
Since joining the clan I have really enjoyed learning how to drive faster, now I want to learn how to race better, something that I personally find much more difficult!

Another frickin alien. Just what this OCD mediocre hot lapper needs.
No. Seriously, a big welcome mate. See you on track, maybe, briefly, in you rear view.
Welcome Moto
I Hope you enjoy your stay here. If you need anything just ask!
