I thought reduced downforce may improve the time . . . but no.
Please do not improve your time.
I am in 6.4X.XXX now.
That is O.K. if I can do that consistandly for almost 2 hours :)
We will see .
Too late.
The high downforce really makes the car feel constipated. More testing and tweaking at low downforce resulted in a good set-up for my liking . . . 6:35 in testing mode . . .

Make sure I start in the back. 7:12 was my best lap in practice. Yall are so in trouble. Lol. Snoop I would really like you to try mine. Feed back would be helpful.
Well its not been great for me and my lack of skill of rtuning and lack of feeling differences in tunes makes life difficult however with my continual fuck upa my fastest is about 7 mins
I think a very successful race even if I came 7th I hated the car and the track didnt like me, I just couldnt get into the groove last night. No real time to get used to the car or track but hey its only the first year. I will be updating the sheet to include a points based table as well as milage, as from the next series (If people like this one enough) i will be scoring based on position as there will be some rule changes in the 2015/16 Championship. I have attached proposed changes as notes in the Calender sheet for you to all look at and if you have any comments please let me know.
Was surprised at the lack of people wrecking are we all that good now lol?
Well done to KC for winning and well done to all as we all survived the GREEN HELL!!!!!!!!
Well back to the testing board for next month at SIlverstone!
As i've already said if people do want to start teaming up they can as I believe teams could really add some more competition to the championship :)
Hope you all had fun last night. If you have any comments or suggestions please do post them here or send me a PM and I'll look at moulding a great series for everyone to enjoy
I've already upgraded my MB150E for the Silverstone run. Also have the proper DTM DEKRA black/silver paint for it so it's perfect.
Snoop, MB150E CANNOT be equipped with Forza rear wing. Front wing yes but not rear. However, it is a rare car that does come with STOCK adjustable rear wing and I think it should be acceptable.
Requesting formal verdict on the subject.
The build came out to A650 or so (I think) with laptime of about 2:18~2:19. 348hp, 2600 lbs . . .

150E? cant seem to find one, is it DLC? may just be me being special as usual. Will build one up and have a look when I can find and get back to you. At work atm so will have a look tonight.

Good fun yesterday, I agree with snoop, surprisingly few smashes.
I'm looking at cars for next month. Tried a couple out (alfa sz and audi rs2). Am I right that there is no spec on number of doors? So theoretically could have something like the 92 nsx?
There is no spec on the number of doors and there is no spec on placement of Engine so thoretically yes you can have the NSX although I will need to test it as always with these ball park specs there is usually one or two that are unfairly fast so will have a look when I get in and get back to you.

NSX is faster by 2~3 seconds per laps (2:16) and is clearly superior. Only 3 laps of testing was needed. Other 2 cars had to be driven very hard to extract sub 2:20 time but NSX was a breeze.
NSX could be built to 2400 lbs but 190E & Cossie will be much heavier.

Damn my honesty eh? The nsx stood out from a handling point of view when scanning the cars in that era, so I thought I'd ask!

I thought it may have been bud but thought I'd check, Surprised the 190E doesnt have Forza rear wing but as it was one of the era I will make the exception for that car.

Yes darn your honesty as I was starting to like the MR2 but to weed out any more potential super fast cars I am resticting the Engine placement to FRONT only so you mid engine lovers sorry but you are going to need to make another choice so your car must be FF or FR. I have also built the Civic and ran with very basic forza tune at A629 350HP and 2401lbs in 2:21:6 but i reckon can get that down a bit with someone's fine tuning touch so for once the civic is allowed lol
It's very chuckable, once the aero is down, gearing needs a mess about too, let me know what you caan get out of it mate as im a few seconds off you anyways

I had a no aero tune ready so added power and weight to meet spec. Good car at 2:18.131 (or something like that).
I had good fun even though my throtle didn't respond between 0 and 50%! I'm going to try and repair my CSP's and if that fails I"m "forced" to buy a v2 set.
For Silverstone I'll probably run a Supra RZ, curently @ 2:19.5xx with a minimal tune.

More testing has to be done in the race itself.
Hope on a good fair race for all

Big
I'm in tonight, 6:51 after 2 laps on a nearly stock tune.
Edit: clean

Congratulations to KC! I tried to stay safe and changed the tires . . . turned out to be not necessary. It was a great race and I had a good time.
And BigDaddy, I was in 2nd place and finished in 2nd place so everything is good!
I only neaded just a litle bit of time more to pass.
But that would not be the way to win.

'92 NSX would be a great choice. I'll have to test that out!
My computer is having a fit and I'm typing this for 3rd frigging time.
Snoop, sorry, it is MB 190E Evolution, not 150E.
NSX was already mentioned so to save you some time . . .
Tested 3 cars so far, 190E (~350 hp, ~2600 lbs), Cossie RWD (~350 hp, ~2600 lbs), and NSX (350 hp, 2400 lbs).

'97 Civic Type R sounds fun too!

We got our Thrustmaster wheel finally. I'm thinking of showing up at the next race. I'm looking at the M3 E30 at the moment.
The more the merrier buddy looking forward to seeing you on track
I think I'm in for this one.
I've got a 190E built and have started working on the tune. There are definite differences in tuning between 4 and 5 that I'm working through.
I wish we could still share vinyls I made a "negative space" dekra number plate that turned out nicely.
Awesome, another 190E driver! Have you got a picture of your car to post?
I'll get one tomorrow hopefully.
My car is going to be s Berlin 2000 car but I'll probably do a Sonax and a Debis livery too
Hey I will try and get in on this, new console new game but no wheel. Still trying to get the hang of it but should be able to take part.
