Yes, welcome back Fitzy!  If you don't want to wait for the Fanatec FM5 version Club Sport v2 wheel (due Fall next year?), the Thrustmaster has been a solid wheel for me (on par or better than the Fanatec GT2 wheel I used for FM4 and GT6) and the Basher adapter for the pedals works flawlessly with the Club Sport Pedals.

So, the race is this weekend.  Gotta get back in the car to re-familiarize myself with it.  Sounds like there will be a good field of competitors.

Good race tonight lads i think we are all going to suffer in the morning from that so well done to all and would seem that it was successful in that all the cars were fairly evenly matched as always happy to get feedback from you all to put into next season.

I got in the lobby just after you started the race which i am glad about as i had to get up at 4am. Half an hour to choose a car, build and tune it was probably not enough time lol, i just fancied a race. I picked a Lancer if you were interested and converted to RWD. Might catch you guys in another race sometime.

Anyone have reference times for LeMans?  I'm getting 3:31~3:36; Peugeot has the speed but is much more difficult to drive.

Straight out the box (no tuning at all) after 3 laps best i got was a 3:37.512 so i think 3:31-36 is a good range to aim for i think personally wven with a tune ill end up around the 3:35 ish mark, but then if i can tune out the twitchy arse i may be a little quicker. any tips????

Been looking at making my sig look a little better and got creative and thinking for some future series an past if anyone wants one I have created little badges for race series winners and such as below.

Oviously much smaller - think the best is like 125x42 so its still readable but was thinking it might be nice as I know some of you have put your wins etc in your sigs. The idea isnt original I know but I justthought it might be a nice idea.

Let me know what you think and I will make some more, diffent colours and stuff maybe but yeah.

I tried the pug and don't have enough money for an audi too so I've no reference times for it. I was able to dip I to the 3.32s. Is anyone else find it lacks rear end grip?

I also find Peugeot to lack rear grip.  It does have tons of torque (800+ft.lb) going through 2 wheels!  Ridiculous!

I know I have not been participating in this series, but if there is room in the room I will race the Audi.

Hi lads, I'm so excited about endurance racing and 2.5 hrs sounds a very good test of mental strengh and ability. Only problem for me living in Australia race start is 7am Monday morning (which I currently compete in another series run by ETCC that has 2 x 25 minute races which lasts just over 1 hour which gets me to work). Is there a possibility to change the date to a Saturday night GMT same time in the future?

I understand I'm new but no one down here runs a professional looking series like this.

Regards WoodyLizard (Neil)

Hey Neil,

I might be interested in either joining or hosting some series that would run on Fridays around 22:00 CST which, if my time zone math is correct, would be around 15:00 Saturday your time. Maybe there are some other stateside folks that would like to race late so there would be at least a modest size lobby.

Start a new thread if you want to discuss further so we don't hijack this one.

Tim
