My intention was to buy my XB1 as part of a bundle after this week. My thinking was that something should go on sale for the XB1 soon. Two things are potentially screwing that idea. One, is that MS makes less profit off Canadian sales. Canadian dollar has been below par for quite awhile yet the console is still priced the same as USA. Add on to that, our dollar just took another small dip. Two, is the lack of PS4 availability is likely to push more sales towards XB1 thus encouraging MS to keep the prices up. All those XB1 sitting on the shelves are worth more, until Sony can restock the PS4.
I'd order a cost saving bundle from MS USA but I'd have to pay shipping and more than likely have to pay in USA dollars.
My great idea is looking to be a flop and I could have had a Day One XB1.
A few more days and then I'll be pulling the cord.

I have tried:

Thanks Shadow, At first blush I was going ignore your comment as I had smartglass on my phone already, but it only showed the 360 progress(guessing 360 version), I then downloaded what I thought was the Xbox one version of smartglass but it didn't look like your screen shots and it didn't show any achievements listing(all MS versions). I downloaded yet another version this morning and works like a charm. Thanks.
XB1's HDD is not removable. All of your personal XBLive shit is on it. I.E. Auto login, access to your account and XBLive cash. So what would 'you' do if it has to be sent in for repair?
I guess I'd just wipe it as best I could. The data can still be recovered by nefarious people, with the correct tools.
Got an email today from BB that my preordered TB XO 7 XBONE Headset has a new ship date of 12/31/14. WTF!!!!???? I immediately canceled the order. Interesting that Amazon still shows 2/14 for availability and Gamestop 3/1. Gonna watch that for a couple of days and see if their dates change as well.

Must be something silly. MS only had to produce the adapter. The headset is ready to go.
Have you noticed how clear the XB1 headset is? MS probably wants perfectly similar performance out of the TB XO Seven headset. It is sponsored after all. Just guessing though.
Posting this here because this not a happy post!! I found out the hard way that if one watches something on the XBONE in HDCP format -- like TV or Netflix -- when finished and back to the dashboard or even into non HDCP gameplay, HDCP is not turned off. This is a major problem for anyone like me who records gameplay and has a capture device set up permanently with pass thru. The HDCP signal does not make it thru the capture device (an HD PVR 2 in my case). The only way to correct the problem is to ensure energy saving is the selected power option and to reboot after watching HDCP content. Interesting that this is not an issue on the 360. HDCP turns on when watching HDCP content and turns off when not watching HDCP content.
Bottom line then is that for those of us with a cap device setup, the idea of being able to snap stuff like TV and gameplay and easily switch between the two is a bunch of crap.
that sucks. though I wouldn't necessarily put this on MS - it's not like they planned that. And they didn't make the box planning on users using DVR capture boxes, especially since they have built in video cap and share. It might be some sort of legal reason they do that.

When I am on I just do some campaign so I don't even bother to use it. Guess I should do a little MM to check it out.
