Twin ring motegi setup is on my sf 2.01.981 full grip no oversteer/understeer pedal to the metal in cornering ... give it a try anybody who plays with a clutch can told me if the gearing are not too short for that long straight ?? Amost hit the cutoff no clutch so I aadd a bit more speed 4 drafting
Okay, So I started a random lobby and everyone's like " Lotus starts in an hour" so ran a few races, quit out at 10 till and grabbed Capt. nasties tune.
Easy right? I didn't own the car, so I ran out and bought one. 4 till...
OMG, the stock paint is horrendous...okay, paint car, 2 till. Get invite and pop in.
I had the best time EVER!!!!! Closest race I ever ran, with only a few screw ups on my part and none were game enders. It looked like the cars were grouped up in maybe two groups, not sure.
Katpeeler and I ran bumper to bumper 16- or 17 laps I'd say and swapped spots 2-3 times at least? Possibly more. Finished the race and shut it off on a high!

That was one hell of an awesome race, everyone drove extremely well. 3rd - 5th was close the entire race too and it took you two 7-8 laps to break free from us which was nothing more than a few hundred feet of breathing room, fantastic stuff!!!
On a less positive note, its time for some constructive criticism on hosting duties. Parcells was going to PM you Cooter but you're smart enough not to take this personally. Awesome car btw! You were clearly trying to be accomodating to everyone last night when you split the room but the next time you get a race started (cleanly mind you) 15 minutes past the scheduled start time with 15 participants count your blessings and race on!
I'm not privy to the information you had (could be people been trying to get in from 9:00 on) but from where Parcells sat it looked like you were trying to accommodate one or two real late comers at the detriment of the 15 people you had...much too nice in other words . Honestly, if I didn't like the car so much I would have quit when you decided to slpit the room just to solve your dilemma as it was nearing 20 past the start time.

I thought that there was one more spot in the room, I guess it was indeed full. Yes, I am too nice, but it was like I said, for people that were waiting to get in since around the start time. It was also for people that had been racing in the series since day one and I didn't feel it was right to not give them a chance to race because of a full room. But I will keep that in mind next time this happens. I'm glad your staying in the series. I'm still working out kinks and fine tuning the series. I find it takes a few races at the least to find out what works best for the most even race. Also every track is different. Kinda stressful being the host of all this. Gotta make things fair, balanced, and fun all at the same time. I'm just glad everyone is patient and enjoying themselves with this car and series. Criticism is always taken on a good note with me, unless someone's an ass about it.
I also just wanted to say a big THANK YOU! to everyone that is apart of this series and for making it fun and entertaining for everyone, myself included. Without you guys, this series wouldn't be. Thanks again guys!
So the first lap was quite civilized, first turn extremely so, and then first turn, 2nd lap, we had what looked like a brake failure and our only caution...
So at lap 8 I set my sight on Kat, and we fought from lap 9 or so through lap 17-18, and intensely so. Three lead changes and a lot of bumper to bumper.
Although I must admit it was not the best race in the series for me, it was still good to get some track time in. With no traffic for thefast guys to have to get through, I was a sitting duck. Shame Im going to miss next week due to work however Im glad to see more races lined up for the series.
Had some mic issues at the end...didnt get a achance to thank everyone for a great time....OldSchool...that had to be some of the most intense racing I have had in a LONG time....pictures dont compare how fun that was....palm sweating and all..Just kept waiting to see that cloud of dust kick up in the corkscrew.....=)...
I have the number plates available. Just message me on XBL if you guys want them. I'll gift them to you ASAP. Probably be later tonight that I actually get around to doing it. Celebrating my father-in-law's birthday.
I would also love to thank Cooter for this race. I had an absolute blast racing around. I do love Laguna Seca and amazing handling cars like this are my favorite. I will definitely admit that I was VERY nervous at the beginning. Once I got into the practice race and I saw that I was quite quick that ended... until I was put in the "Fast Guys" room and handed a handicap. I was worried that I had forgotten to add my handicap but at the end I saw I was running constant 1:31.500's and during my practice earlier in the day I was at least a second faster.
Me and Lowrider got off to a good start, managed to get out ahead and pull a gap on the pack. Thats where the fun began. He hounded me for 16 laps. lol. I could pull away from him through the beginning of the lap, but no matter what, he would make up everything breaking into the corkscrew, then be on my bumper the next few corners and into the next lap. This carried on for most of the race. Wasn't helped by the constant chattering of Cooter, asking how the leaders were doing, lol (kidding). Finally, on lap 17, I ran wide on turn 3 and Lowrider took the lead... and stayed there. I managed to put in a 1:30.3 trying to catch him, but ran wide again on lap 19 and it was over. Still it was an amazing race. Very clean, quick racing. I loved being able to be competitive, since this is basically the first organized Forza Event Ive ever taken part in. So grats to Lowrider... Ill get you next time.
All in all was a great night. I cant wait for next week. I am already looking forward to tweaking the car and my design, although I love my Gulf Colors. Also if anyone was able to save the replay? Let me know, Id love to have a copy since I forgot to save it last night.
I gotcha on the replay Ram. I'll post both rooms up in my Storefront . And next time, you and Lowrider are getting your own special handicaps.....I'll show you "constant chatter". Kidding.....you'll just get it and not LowRider. . But next time I'll pay more attention to the handicap levels. I was trying to make sure both rooms got started and got started at about the same time. I had alot of my mind at the start of the race. Oh well, enjoy 2nd place. You may not be there at the finish of next week. Not if my car has anything to say about it......
