Still up for the racing but will have to give this saturdays race a miss due to work. That is going to be the downside for me with never knowing when I will be working so might not make many of the planned races.
We have got to get this forum sorted out, I will hassle Dood some more and try to get subforums so we can organise it better, stuff just gets lost in these never ending stickies.
Before I post all the info in the subform would you guys be ok if we started the series on sat Oct 27 continuing bi weekly ? And than run the support series starting on sat.Nov 3rd? Reason being paradox works Nov.3 and I would really like if he could make as many of the main series races as possible.....also with the bi weekly format it gives guys enough time to set up there cars and master the tracks :)
I am thinking of running either the Chevy lacetti or seat Toledo ?
First track will be Brands hatch indy, really short track so expect a lot of close racing and some bumping and rubbing! A good will depend if u can master the first and last turns :)
@ Neverender no mod needed we tried the btcc mod its awesome but unfortunatley it wouldn't work online so we settled with 06 & 07 wtcc cars that are ingame....the tracks are in a Google drive folder a few post up :)
This sounds great. If we do mandatory pit stops I will need some help with that. Every time I try to pit against tha AI it seems my pit stops are twice as long.
So I spent a little time on Kupupts dedicated server and it is working great. The Smaller version of Brands Hatch is fun, I've never run that version before. I was getting in the low 52's compared to the AI which was running in the 51's. I have never changed any settings in the car and would have no idea where to start. Any suggestions or websites that explain car setups?
I'll post up a easy lamans guide I use..gearing usually helps alot....run some laps and set your final gear to almost redline at the longest straight and even out the rest from 1st to 5th...raise the rear arbs 1 or 2 clicks and the steering lock.....and setting the right amount of fuel helps alot....for qualifying drop it to 4 laps worth
1:51:87 with stock tune...looks like Neverender and I are going to be fighting it out while the Aliens hopefully slow each other down
are you doing the full track at Brands Hatch? Because when I do the Brands Hatch Indy version it is taking me about 52 seconds, not 1 minute 52 seconds.

cool. I was messing around with it last night and got down to 51.55 with the default setup. Fun little track, not sure how I will do in a full race on such a tiny track. Should be fun though
I did a race on the server and run out of juice on the last lap...think I cut it too fine LOL Shaved a few more tenths off. but like you say a different ball game in an actual race.
Not sloppy, soppy...
I loaded google drive not to familar with how it works but hopefully this is the correct link to the series tracks?

If thats the proper way?
Yep. Works great!
Maybe...I'll be just getting out of a 90 minute Group A Touring Car Enduro, and I've got EUSL at noon (PDT).
Not sure I have GBR and ARI races Sunday...

Not sure how I missed this thread, but thank god Kurupt pm'd me. I am in for sure!
LOL I was wondering what had happened to you, excellent a small but viable field
i will get this mod and tracks tonight! I cannot wait to get this going. I am very excited about this series.
Yay another driver
cool! i will get the tracks tonight, I didn't read the entire thread, obviously. perhaps i should do that now.

the key is to go into settings and turn off automatic pits, and confirm your settings before you pit :)
