Found this little guy in our front yard this afternoon. He was a decent distance away from a pond (for a turtle at least) so we put him in a bucket and brought him to the pond near our house. His buddies were out on a tree branch waiting for him.

I wanted to keep him. If he comes back, I might.

In other animal news - blood tests are normal for the cat...Contemplating $400 ultrasound still.

Going to play Wolverine now....Fun and mindless. Easy chievies.

Just brought the kitties to the vet. Meow Meow is good - just shots for her. But shots and bloodwork for my big guy. He needs his teeth cleaned and 1 pulled. But he has developed a heart murmur so they don't want to put him under until they figure out why. Step 1 - $100 of bloodwork - results tomorrow. The vet's guess is a hyperthryroid which would be $25 a month in pills for the rest of his life or a one-time $1500 cure.

Should have went to work...It would be cheaper.

All I really want to blog about is work shit. And that is just all together not very smart, and boring. So I'll just leave you with this - how many times have you wanted to just grab someone by the shoulders, shake them, and say "JUST. STOP. TALKING!"?

I daydream about it sometimes. What's your work I-just-want-to-tell-off-so-and-so daydream?

Exciting scientific research on the bus this morning. For the last few miles I decided to put down my book and look out at cars below me. I have confirmed (always suspected) that the number of bumper stickers on your car is directly related to the number of old McDonald's bags and other pieces of trash that you have in your car.

On a whim, I went out and bought a Hava placeshifter device to record gameplay in HD sometime last year. It works very well. I made about 3-5 videos and I haven't touched it since. (Failed hobby experiment - I do this often)

I'm planning on replacing my whole home theater set-up so I'm going to be selling some extraneous shit to start with and eventually selling my existing TV, stand, and surround sound system. Or I might give that stuff to my mom. Who knows.
