On a whim, I went out and bought a Hava placeshifter device to record gameplay in HD sometime last year. It works very well. I made about 3-5 videos and I haven't touched it since. (Failed hobby experiment - I do this often)
I'm planning on replacing my whole home theater set-up so I'm going to be selling some extraneous shit to start with and eventually selling my existing TV, stand, and surround sound system. Or I might give that stuff to my mom. Who knows.
Anyway, I've got a Hava Platinum HD placeshifter that I'm selling. If you've been looking into capture cards but don't want to swap to standard definition cables to do it, this is what you want. You can wirelessly transmit gameplay video through your network while you play on your TV in HD. Fuck those pinnacle pieces of shit.
Examples of videos I made can be seen here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/AbsoluteTara - Bad editing does not come included with device.
PM me with an offer/questions if you're interested. I paid $149 for it in August 08. Otherwise, I'l throw the bitch on Craigslist and get murdered. Thanks.
