I forgot to post this last week when I went to the Detroit basketball game, but where the hell did all these fans suddenly come from? There were more Detroit fans at the Suns game than I can ever remember having seen before.  I realize that championship a few years ago fired up a shitload of bandwagon fans but I never imagined it would be this bad.

I just read a story that made me shake my head.

Now there aren't a lot of details, but I am assuming this is an outside dog since they saw the snake in its bed. I can't imagine they'd have found this snake inside their house and let it escape. I thought chihuahuas were typically inside dogs, but whatever.

I love listening for people to contradict themselves.  I do it myself, and when I notice it I laugh at myself.

Yesterday I was listening to CNN Headline News on the way home and they had a story about some mom who caught her nanny on a nannycam doing some, apparently, horrendous things to the baby. From what I could tell from the sputtering announcer, the nanny had picked the baby up by the 'onesie' and whirled it around 'like a sack of potatoes' and then also apparently she left the baby on the edge of the couch where it could have possibly fallen.

I just recently found out that my girlfriend has never seen Band of Brothers.  This is great for me, because it gives me an excuse to watch it again!  I watched the miniseries religiously and taped it (on VHS) when it was on HBO but haven't seen it since.  So I borrowed it from my friend--he has the edition that comes in some type of metal ammo box--and last night watched the first episode.
