Fable 2 vs. Oblivion

As I mentioned in my last blog, I have been playing Oblivion and loving it.  A student of mine let me borrow his Fable 2 until he gets his 360 repaired.  Now I had rented Fable 2 for a couple of days and had started the game and was enjoying it.  Then I discovered Oblivion.  Yesterday when I got home, I decided to give Fable 2 a little play time.  Not sure what the problem was but all I could think about was Oblivion.  I was at the point in the game where a ghost had sent me to break a girls heart.  I had to impress her so for several minutes I had to strike a pose or whistle at her.  I don

Too Much

I recently picked up Oblivion GOTY edition and have been spending way too much time with it.  I tried it several years ago and found out it was too complicated for me.  After playing Fallout 3 and learning the ways, I decided to tackle Oblivion finally.  Here is where the problem comes in.  One of my students walks in today and puts a copy of Fable 2 on my desk.  He explained that his 360 bit the dust so he wouldn't be needing it for awhile.  Dangit, now what am I suppose to do?  I am loving Oblivion, I have been wanting to playFable 2 since it came out and on top of all that, my nightly ga

Fungus

Bunsen inspired me to post a pic tonight with his pictures. As I said in a couple of blogs back, I started a photoblog that I try to add one picture a day to. Here is today's picture. Found this growing out of the side of a dead tree. Not sure of the technical term is so a fungus it is.

Oblivion

When I first got my 360 two years ago, I tried Oblivion.  I hated it.  I was confused and didn't have a clue what to do.  It was to big and open for me.  I needed direction.  I gave the game back to my buddy and forgot all about it.  A few months ago, I bought Fallout 3 by the same comapny.  It started out much the same.  I was lost and confused.  I stuck with it and grew to love the game.  I finally figured out how to play and it soon became a favorite of mine.  Today I decided to give Oblivion another try.  I feel like I understand all the leveling up and how to play so its time to give i

Photoblog

Haven't been around much.  I have been taking a bunch of pictures lately and working on a photoblog to display them.  I am new to photography and am trying to learn all that I can.  I shared a few pictures in previous blogs but decided that most people on here could care less.  I have finally found a free site to host my photoblog and decided to share it on here if anybody wanted to check it out.  I have been posting one picture a day so please check back to see what's new.
