Bunsen inspired me to post a pic tonight with his pictures. As I said in a couple of blogs back, I started a photoblog that I try to add one picture a day to. Here is today's picture. Found this growing out of the side of a dead tree. Not sure of the technical term is so a fungus it is.

I believe Fungi is the correct term. Nice composition! Your field of focus is a little short though. Next time try using a slighter higher f number like 6-10. Remember though if you stop down the lens you will need to increase your exposure time by the same number of stops to get the same overall exposure. I avoid using an f-stop below 6 unless I am going for a very specific effect.
