I've been a member of this site for a while now. Not as long as its been open, but long enough to have gotten to know a lot of people and make some friends.

Sadly that means making enemies too sometime. Thankfully nowhere near as many of those as friends. But it still sucks. The ones that make you think..."what did I do to make them shit in my cereal."

So alright. Waited in line...got my copy....got home....put it in.....started playing.

I really miss the days when I hosted LAN parties and had 12-16 people show up......Halo 2 was always the game of choice. And we played it a lot. I didn't play it on live much until I joined 2old2play and joined a clan.

But my preference for LAN gaming is still strong. The more I game on Live, the more I wish I actually lived closer to some of my clan members. Because I'd rather sit in the same room with them than game over Live.

My big reason is Lag. Yes lag has always plagued online gaming....probably always will.

This weekend a small but interesting change happened to me. It started Friday morning. Normally I'd be up around 8:00 am to get ready for work. And normally I wouldn't actually be up and about until around 8:45am because I always hit the snooze about 50 times. I'm not a morning person at all.

But I didn't have to work. I was told if I finished all my work Thursday I didn't need to come in Friday. So I burned through my workload and finished before I left Thursday. Friday would be mine.

This weekend a small but interesting change happened to me. It started Friday morning. Normally I'd be up around 8:00 am to get ready for work. And normally I wouldn't actually be up and about until around 8:45am because I always hit the snooze about 50 times. I'm not a morning person at all.

For those that don't know...I'm planning a beach trip in November. The week of the 8th - 15th. The week of my birthday.

The house is beach front, has 3 bedrooms, 2 decks (1 right onto the beach).

I love the beach. Since the family quit going every year....I've decided to keep the love alive and go myself every year. I love the beach too much. Its the only place I can truly 100% relax.
