Decided I'm gonna drive myself nuts and take on a big project.

As a lot of you know, I'm a whore for Gears of War. Been a gear head since Emergence Day (which happened to by my birthday).
So I decided to take my Gears obsession to the next level. Cosplay!

Yes over the next five weeks I'm going to attempt to make a full suit of C.O.G. Armor from the Gears series. More specifically, Hoffman from Gears 3. (pictured below).

Alright, it's a new year, and we're just months away from Judgement.  Let's figure up Gears at 9PM Eastern on Saturday night and chainsaw the hell out of one another.  Let me know below if you're able to make it, so we know who to send out invites to.  Also, if you haven't yet, send a FR to the Gears tag - a2o2pGears - so we can find you if you're not on our friends lists.

This is a call out to all the Gearheads in the 2old2play community! We need your help.

JohnnyHustler and myself have been trying for the last few months to help get the Gears community here on 2old2play to grow. The results haven't been what we've been hoping for. We've had community game nights setup for several weeks in a row, and just never got a real decent turnout. Does this mean that there's no Gears community on 2old2play? Nah. Just means the word isn't getting out there to enough people. Or people just aren't sure they wanna jump in and play.

Public matches are full of nothing but cock-mongling wall-bouncing gnasher-pricks. Why? well cuz Epic seems to only want the gnasher folks to have dedicated playlists here recently. So yeah no. No es bueno. People are playing like they are Michael J. Fox with a controller. And that shit's gettin old.

Its not a fighting game. You don't count frames or do animation cancels.

Ugh. I hate people.

Does anyone know where I can acquire a solid arcade stick for the ps3 & xbox for under $100?

I can build one but I don't have the workspace to do that right now.

I'll even take a gutted madcatz tournament stick.

For those that don't check the Gears forum much but play Gears 3 regularly, I will be hosting an event either weekly or every other week (depending on turn out & feedback).

Tonight will be the first full on event. We'll be kicking off at 9:00pm EST.

Gonna be moving into a new apartment next week. Super excited. Its so much nicer than the slum we are living in now. We started looking for a new place for a little while, then I guess got complacent.

But when the ceptic tank your apartment is on....backs up into the bathroom, hallway and into the master bedroom....you get knocked out of complacency VERY quickly. Happened the day after X-mas too...which made it worse.
