Had today off, and fully intended to get more done around the house. I am attempting to prep the trim around the house...ahead of my wife and daughters, as they are doing the actual painting.
Unfortunately (or ...fortunately) for me, Isaac's residual storms left me hangin'.
I did get an opportunity to work on some stuff inside, as well as eek out a little time to sketch.
Well this has been stuck in my sketchbook for quite a while...been trying to get it right. Seems to be a blend of the movie and the comics, but I am finally getting it where I want....
Still a lot of detail, and I need to figure a background...maybe something industrial. The repulsor's spooling up will have more of a "glare" to them than actual hard lines, but I wanted to get the groundwork in.

So I have been adding to the detail layer...attempting to portray Cap, and his chain mail a little better. I also was not happy with the musculature in his back. I layered over the original drawing. It looks better, but it starts to flatten a bit.

Until now I have kinda kept a low profile, and stayed within my clan. (Well...If you've heard me yell and scream at my gaming ability, it's not really "low profile"....)
