Dreams of a National Champion

So the ranch had a new addition the other day,

Wish I had a pic, damn good bitch, but hopefully I will have a nice portrait of her under the National Western Logo with the Grand Champion Banner held behind....

Its a goal my family has been striving for for several years. ;; I think we are getting close with the calf crop this year.

Only time will tell, just need to keep her healthy and growing and we will have a shot.

Oh yeah, you can

Suck it

Woot! an update!

Its been long enough! Finally an update!

Ive been extremely busy lately. Ive been playing my instrument for about 5 days a week with night rehearsals. For those that dont know I play the trumpet. Ive been playing for about 15 years. I was in the pit orchestra for "A Chorus Line", which took up most of the time. Its finally over. This weekend, Ive got a paying gig for Easter Sunday. Im playing at a church, and then doing another service at Virginia Tech. I get to play my piccolo trumpet, something I dont get to do too much.

Tauren Chronicles - Part 2

Ok, my bad.  There seems to be some confusion as to what Im talk about.  This old Tauren is getting forgetful, and its been a long time since Ive tried to tell a story.  It seems in my haste to tell the story, I forgot the most important part of the story: the begining.

I survived round one

Zero hour wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. All I had to do was run out to the gun range a few hours before hand, fire off a few rounds of expensive ammo without the use of ear plugs....Its amazing how much you cant hear when not using plugs.

All I saw was everyones mouth move....what a joyous feeling that was.

But now Easter Sunday is almost upon us and Im out of ammo...I wonder if I can sit on the tarmak at MSP International Airport for a few hours?

Issue #2, and #3

Issue #2 is coming along good, many people are getting me 1st drafts of their articles nice and early.  That means I can get down exactly where they are taking the topic and tie a theme for the magazine together.  Awesome.

Some issue #2 "working title" content will be:

XBox 360 is rumored to have Halo coming out in the Marketplace.  Why are they "reminding" people that Halo exists on the 360?  Are they lubing us up for Halo 3(60)?  Or is it a direct port of Halo?  What if it has full xbl support? This article is being drawing up by FireWtr96.

Am I a Jerk for this?

OK so there is this girl that I have kind of been seeing but she lives 2100 miles away.  We have been arguing a lot lately and was trying to be nice and I sent her some flowers just for the hell of it to say that I Love Her and I am thinking about her.  She gets on messenger and calls me a Jerk, they are a waist of money because they have no use, and they are dead.  WOW I have never been called a Jerk for doing something nice.

So, Be Gentle and Shit

I dabble in fiction from time to time. I wrote a series of short shorts a couple years back. thought I might post them here and see if you guys like to read. Heres the first one. Its called "The Diner."

Sam stopped in front of the diner, glancing back over his shoulder at the fog. He could hear them, out past the light, slithering across the street, the wet, squishy noise reminding him of a Cronenberg film. One hand under his jacket, he didn’t realize he was caressing the handle of a Desert Eagle, tracing the grip with his trigger finger.
