What's Going On?

Well let me tell ya.

The sky is falling and chicken little predicted it, but nobody wanted to listen.  The world is at an end and we're all gonna die.

Not really, but there are a few things you need to get updated on at 2old2play if you haven't been around in a while. 

1) New site design coming:  Check out the thread on the communities ideas for the new site

2) For up to date news and community events sign up for a twitter account and start following Waterborn (community events), NoGame (site news, gaming news, LAN updates, & community events), Dsmooth (2old2type, and admin news), and Codemonkey (2old2type and he's also got a some great drink recipies).

3) Check out Waterborn's blog to get an update on the twitter pimp contest, updates on community events, and your chance to win some cool swag.

These things above are only a few of the highlights. There are a lot of things coming down the pipe here at 2old2play and you should start getting excited. 

The LAN planning and coordination has officially begun and this year will without a doubt prove to be the biggest and baddest event yet, trust me we've got some cool stuff in the works.  If you weren't able to attend last year, here, and here is what you missed

The 2old2play art auction has ended, it was a great success, and as soon as all the artists have concluded their transactions and sent us the final numbers we'll give you an update on how much money we've raised for 2o2p V3. 

The Press and Writer's Corp. is up, running, and going strong with it's new and enthusiastic members.  So be on the look out for some great additions to the homepage in the coming days and weeks.  If you are interested in joining the P&W corp. we are always on the lookout for great writers and copy editors to follow in the footsteps of bubba so just hit up Doodi, Drost, NoGame, or Codemonkey with a PM and let us know you're interested.
