SWAT SUCCESS

Bungie's double EXP SWAT weekend is over but surely it will be permanent soon (right?).  That playlist has done wonders for my K/D so I'll share what I've been doing.  I'm not much of a support player in this gametype.  If the opponent is running in groups, your team will need to stick together but there's not a whole lot of team shooting going on.  I think this gametype is more about calling out positions, knowing where your team is and quick reflexes.

Fusion Cores!

I used to hate fusion cores.  They didn't seem to serve any real purpose and took no skill to blow up near someone.  I'm learning that's the beauty of them.  They don't serve a real purpose so they often get ignored.  It seems that only really skilled opponents even notice them.  Since it takes no skill to blow them up, they provide a great advantage to the smart support player.  First, you can take away kills from the other team by safely blowing them up at your defensive positions.  Of course, make sure your team isn't near them first.  Next, you can anticipate where your enemy is headed and

Support Strategy Updates

Today, I’m revisiting some of the topics of my previous blogs to cover some comments and suggestions I’ve received on how to improve support player gameplay. A lot of these topics will be relevant to all players, but the support player is what I’m focused on.
