The Adventures of Scary Fox

I thought I might give my creative writing skills some practice and give the technical writing a break today.  A few days ago I found out I had a superhero identity by the name of Scary Fox.  This is my story, beginning with some background.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

The person who was to become St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born in Wales about AD 385. His given name was Maewyn, and he almost didn't get the job of bishop of Ireland because he lacked the required scholarship.

Far from being a saint, until he was 16, he considered himself a pagan. At that age, he was sold into slavery by a group of Irish marauders that raided his village. During his captivity, he became closer to God.

Dental visit

I just came back from the dentist so he could tend to some cavities.  Have I ever said how much I detest going to the dentist?  Yes, I realize it is an evil necessity and I also realize many people spend many years to learn the various techniques of oral torture just so I can keep my teeth longer.  But damn, I hate having my cheeks and lips so numb I feel as if I'm in a wind tunnel facing the wind and my cheeks feel as if they are falling away from my teeth!!!  Then to have the numbness go up and under my nose is just not right.

Hump Day!!

I've noticed a few people have been having bad days and I thought I might be able to cheer them up, a bit.  I ran across this "article" today and decided to share.  For those of you paying attention, there is a theme beginning to emerge.  No, it isn't a hang up of mine, I just happen to work in a college town and those "articles" come from the campus paper.
