Christmas is the day after tomorrow. Looking forward to that. Dialed down the gifts for my two boys this year. 8 year old is getting a couple of Lego Star Wars sets from santa, and the 3 year old is getting some kung zhu battle arena thing with some more kung zhu. Their mom got them a few things that are going to be from the both of us. I'm going over to her place Christmas morning so I can spend Christmas morning with the boys. That's important to me. Last year, I got to have them here.

Well, I said I was going to do it, and I did. My wife's cousin (also my friend's girlfriend) painted my head tonight. I think she did well, even if it's a little to one side, and the 2o2p address is a little crooked.

    I'm going to go all-out for the Halo 3 release. I pre-ordered at Best Buy, which I now realize was a mistake, because they're not doing a midnight release. No fun there. Luckily, I have friends that rock. One of my friends realized how much more this game meant to me than it does him, mostly because he's not currently connected to live. His pre-order is at a Game Crazy store down by his place. He offered to exchange reserves, in order for me to play it a.s.a.p. Awesome. What's more, he got his girlfriend to volunteer to paint my head.

    Just need to take a moment to vent of some inner-conflict, here.
    The root of my problems, I think is that I work on the weekends. I've been doing so for about a year and a half. I chose to, because it was the only way to get back into the company I like working for, doing the job I know how to do, and I'm good at it. That, and it pays well, I work 3 12 hour shifts and get paid for 40, and the biggest bonus is that we save a ton of money on daycare costs for my two boys, only sending them on Mondays (so I can sleep) and Fridays.

    Reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife last week, that started when I told her about a guy at work who is always very critical of women, and he claimed that Fergie was ugly.
    My wife says, "He's nuts, Fergie is hot. Heck, I'd even do her."
    "Really?"
    "Don't get any ideas."
