I'm still feeling pretty fed up with my job right now.

I've really been enjoying writing for Massively for the past year, and I'm considering writing for them full-time. I need to check very carefully how much money I can expect to earn, as it;s not a salaried position, instead you get paid per post you put up.

My girlfriend was at a craft fair this past weekend, selling some of her hand-made jewellery, just round the corner from her friends' house. Afterwards, we were invited over for dinner and a surprise impromptu birthday party for me!

Typically, my presents comprised of Game gift vouchers, which I spent yesterday on some PC games. FInally, I have my hands on Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I can see my WoW-time being rather curtailed for the next few weeks :D

I turned 30 last Tuesday! I've made it a custom to take the day of my birthday off, but this year I took the whole week off instead - I ended up sitting around playing Red Alert 3 to the end - fun times :)

Last Saturday, we had my girlfriend's sister and her boyfriend, and her parents. We ordered in veritable Chinese banquet, and I got ridiculously drunk - fun times again :) I suffered badly for it on the Sunday of course, so that wasn't quite as much of a fun time.

Well, I guess I needed a bit of a break after that last bit of soul-searching. Well, not exactly soul-searching, but certainly some soul-bearing. My thanks for all the comments I received, they were very much appreciated. I think a couple of people asked what I meant by 'the rest is history' with Morag and I. I should have clarified; we've been together since we started dating, maybe 8 or 9 years now, and have had our own place together for 6 or 7 years. We've had our ups and downs, and had the occasional row, but nothing serious.
