Some Time Off

So, I was at the Doctor this morning, after waiting THREE WEEKS for the appointment (NHS FTL), to talk about the verruca on my foot, but more importantly, the headaches I've been getting recently.

I won't bother going into a blow-by-blow description of all the things I had to relate to him, because this blog has become too much live an emo-tastic Live Journal account already, so suffice it to say that the doc was fairly certain that the ridiculous amount of things on my plate just now are the cause of my headaches, so he's signed me off for a fortnight, starting today.

Good News Everyone!

My girlfriend has a new job at Stirling University!

Typical admin stuff - the kind of thing she can do in her sleep. It's a 6-month contract, covering maternity leave, at 28 hours per week. It's a decent wage per hour, and at only 28 hours a week means she should have time to wwork on her jewellery at home.

She got the phone call yesterday afternoon, and they asked her to start today, so she was running around like a headless chicken this morning getting things ready,

So, that's a little less stress to worry about I suppose :-)

Moar Drama!

I'm afraid the title isn't a lie or exageration, there is more drama to report unfortunately.

Lightning Bolt!

Found this, and felt that I had to share it with y'all.

Seriously - LARP'ing, there just isn't any excuse.

Moar Pictures!

I meant to post these up over the weekend - you may have seen them if you'd went snopping in my Photobucket gallery anyway. Warning - they are rather large, so they'll have been snipped to fit the page - get clicking for a proper look.
