Some Time Off

So, I was at the Doctor this morning, after waiting THREE WEEKS for the appointment (NHS FTL), to talk about the verruca on my foot, but more importantly, the headaches I've been getting recently.

I won't bother going into a blow-by-blow description of all the things I had to relate to him, because this blog has become too much live an emo-tastic Live Journal account already, so suffice it to say that the doc was fairly certain that the ridiculous amount of things on my plate just now are the cause of my headaches, so he's signed me off for a fortnight, starting today.

It might cause my manager some problems, but I'm honestly not that bothered - I'll need to see him tomorrow to hand in my doctor's note, so I'll see if he has anything to say then. I doubt he will though, he's a decent enough guy.
