Shared on Fri, 10/14/2011 - 22:14Well, it's already October and that can mean only one thing, Halloween is around the corner and the Rock & Shock Horror & Music Con is back in Worcester. So I packed up my mobile recording gear and headed out to see what was up. As some of you may remember, I was able to sit down and get interviews with Andrienne Barbeau, William Katt, Ogre (from Skinny Puppy) and Zoe Bell at the 2010 event, so I was pretty stoked to learn that Robert Englund, William Forsythe, Ace Frehley and Garey Busey were going to be on hand this year. So check out these photos to see what's coming.
Of course, the man to meet this year was Rober Englund, aka Freddy Kruger. Robert is promoting his newest movie, Inkubus, which was filmed and produce entirely in new england. He was a very cool chap and as luck would have it, I have an interview scheduled for Sunday with him, William Forsythe and the director and producer of the film. The director, Glenn, was a complete classic gaming nerd and even had on a Space Invaders T-shirt. Cool people all around.
Robert was kind enough to sign a poster for his new movie (check out the custom 2old2play sig in the top right corner). I will be giving this away when I post my review of the movie. I will be attending the world premier tomorrow night. So keep an eye on this blog for that review and give-away.
Chillin' with William Forsythe who is also starring in Inkubus.
Also got to meet Da Man Gary Busey. I have been a fan of this guy for a long time, since he starred in Big Wednesday. Great guy. Looking forward to interviewing him on Sunday as well.
I got Gary to sign my Collector's Ed of Point Break (Best Movie EVER - "Get me two Utah, two!"). Sorry, this one stays in my collection.
Ace Frehley from Kiss was there as well and I got him to sign a few things. To say I "met" him would probably be a bit of a stretch. He had quite a production set up at his booth and to be honest, I was a bit put off by the fact that they guy couldn't even had up the phone to greet his fans. Nuff said.
A VHS copy of Kiss Meets the Phantom from my personal collection.
I also had the opportunity to meet with the cast and crew of Serena and the Ratts, which was also filmed and produced entirely in New England. I have to admit that this movie was not on my radar, but after talking to Evanlena Marie and the rest of the cast, I can't wait to see it. These people seriously are probably the coolest group of movie industry peeps thatt I have EVER met. VERY down to earth. They were kind enough to give me a signed preview copy of the DVD, which I will in turn be giving away once the review posts, so keep an eye on this blog to win. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.

My apolgies to Evalena, but I ran across this on her channel at Youtube and just had to post it. This reel shows how amazingly cute this girl is and gives a little glimpse into the very cool person that I met tonight. (Don't hate me for posting this Evalena :) )

And of course, what blog from Waterborn would be complete without a give-away? So here is a nice little Paranormal Activity 3 SWAG pack. Just post a comment for this blog for your chance to win.
