As a person who has dealt with depression let me say this, you can fight your depression with exercise. Just start small, get out and walk briskly every day. Get your heart rate up. You will feel better. Concentrate on the exercise and the good you are doing your body. You will start to feel better. Keep the ball rolling by modifying your diet. Again start small and get rid of the foods that are high in sugar. When you feel the urge to snack go for something easy like an apple or grapes.
