New Releases: Week of March 8th, 2020

Can we just be done with Daylight Savings time please? There may have been great reasons for it a century ago but I am going to go out on a limb and say they don't really apply to today's world. If I had my druthers I would keep the standard time instead of daylight time. In the summer the sun goes down around 10pm and even then it takes an hour before it truly gets dark. It actually never gets fully dark for most of June and July but at least if we were on standard time it the sun would set before 9pm.

Sorry for unloading that on you. We are not here to discuss the pro and cons of DST are we? No ! Dammit!  We come for the games! Unfortunately, next week is going to be a good week, while this week only really has 1 significant release. Lets take a look anyway!

Langrisser I & II
Release Date:
March 10th, 2020
Platforms: PC, PS4, Switch

There is a Canadian band by the name of The Barenaked Ladies and they had a huge hit in the mid nineties with One Week. There is a line in that song that goes something like "gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon cause that cartoon has got the boom anime babes that make me think the wrong thing". I mean look at the image above and what do you think this game is? I can tell you right now it is nothing like what that image may convey in your mind. Langrisser I & II were released almost 30 years ago and while the graphics have been updated, this tactical RPG plays like a game from 30 years ago. That is not a bad thing, I am just setting expectations here given the image above.
