New Releases: Week of March 1st, 2020

If you don’t see a picture of the writer on the post… it’s probably the mystery blend, Coffee himself!  Blend of the moment… a hoppy beer x2.  It's funny how I claim to be the Coffee man but every time I start writing I want a beer for some creative writing power.  No crappy beer writing for you guys, only the dankest of craft beers from my favorite local brewery.  VERY DANK… Muahahaha!!!

Someone make this a real game please!

Black Mesa
Release Date: March 5th, 2020
Platforms: PC

ChunkySoup here - This is where Coffee wrote his blurb on The Outer Worlds for the Switch. Unfortunately, the port was being completed by a team in China and due to the Covid-19 outbreak the port went on hold. I opted to replace his blurb with my own on Black Mesa because I am old and remember when Half Life launched. It was a big deal back then and damn it was good. Black mesa was created as an upgrade for the groundbreaking game and after around 15 years of modding it is finally seeing a commercial release date and with, I might add, Valve's full blessing. This is more then just the XEN level but the whole game from what I can tell. Watch the video below for the trailer for XEN then go find a few screen shots of the original 1998 game. I think it would be worth playing all over again because those headcrabs aren't going to crowbar themselves!

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
Release Date:
March 6th, 2020
Platforms: SWITCH

This franchise HAS got to have made like a BAZILLION dollars by now right?  I know there are some hardcore Pokédites out there, but I am good with saying “to each their own”.  We all add a bit of ourselves to the world and have our individual contributions and I must contribute to drinking more beer, writing about things I don’t know much about while under the influence of alcohol and trying new alcohol to be under the influence of.  It goes hand in hand with the drinking of more beer, so the cycle begins anew.  If you like Pokémon… that’s cool.
