New Releases: Week of March 14th, 2021

Coffee Memoirs:   Just over 3 weeks ago I was just getting back into a game called MechWarrior Online.  Big stompy robots that make you feel like you could take on Godzilla and blowing up enemies to the best of my abilities.  I feel like I have started to find my rhythm finally!  With all the different ways you can play I was having a hard time identifying where my strengths were, but I can brawl up close pretty deece.  Figured I would work on skills first and then try to make some alliances.  Almost time for phase 2 Muahahaha!
What is next for me though?  What flashy game is going to come out and steal my heart away and make my wife mad at me again for the next time?  Game developers… do tell.  I scrolled thru the Steam Discovery queue and there are an awful lot of Survival, horror, retro and shooter games right now besides all the mature content which is fun to flip thru but never dare install.  (Boobs are magnetic to the eyeballs, change my mind.)  Anyhow, I feel like if I found a solid modern MMO I could get into something in that category.   So, for now… MWO it is!  Enjoy your games!

So, I’d like for you to come to the Alps this week, no tourists to deal with.  There’s this quiet secluded place… not so many people around.  Maybe do some puzzles, some sledding and try avoiding the locals too while you’re at it.  (Psychological Horror Adventure game in a hand penciled art style.)

Saviors of Sapphire Wings & Stranger of Sword City Revisited
Release Date:
March 16, 2021
Platforms: PC, Switch

This is for you RPG game fans.  A reincarnated hero comes back to life 100 years after being defeated by a major baddie.  On this new lease in life, you repeat your career path of dungeons and battling instead of going back to school and finding a better paying job like your mama always wanted for you.

In Rays of the Light
Release Date:
March 17, 2021
Platforms: PS4, PS5, XBO, Switch

You wouldn’t think they would make it so hard to find an image with the name of they game on it at a larger size but every once in a while, you need to make some hard decisions in life.  Like buy food or buy beer.  Take your wife out to dinner or the girlfriend.  Or use a small image with the name on it or an actual game image without the name… its all par for the course.

This game is listed as an action-adventure game in what appears to be a post war Russian country.  You can’t tell much by the trailer of what to expect but I am guessing there is some horror aspects… just a hunch.
