Me again! I was covering for our good buddy Coffee last week and this week is my turn! First thing I said when I looked at the list of games coming this week..."Holy Shit!" Remember when the only games we would see for the first three months of the year were licensed trash? That has not been the case this year. Ok, so we may have seen one or two good games in that first quarter but looking at this weeks list, there are a number of AAA games dropping. Lets get right to them!
Elden Ring

Hot damn I want to play this game! It looks like it will be fantastic but my pockets are thin these days. I am saving for an RTX3060 which I can pay money for instead of blood or my first born if you go to the 3070 or above. I did think about trading either or both to play Elden Ring but neither Best Buy nor EB Games would take my offering. I am going to have to wait. I thought maybe I will watch streams but then FOMO will just kick in even harder. if you do grab Elden Ring this week leave me a thumbs up or thumbs down in the chat below to let me know how it is.
Grid Legends

I am a sucker for racing games. Since the first Need for Speed that I upgraded my dad's pc for (Hercules Video card) to Forza Horizon 5, I have a soft spot in my heart for them. Grid Legends looks like a ton of fun and Codemasters knows how to make racing games. However, its coming up against arguably one the most anticipated games of the year. I can't wait to hear EA's excuse for this one.
Monark
Release Date: February 22th, 2022
Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Switch
Monark is a tactical JRPG being ported over to English. I find whenever that happens, dramatic sequences and dialog in the native language lose a little something in translation and come across super cheesy. Just me? Yes? No?
