SCEA gave some details about the supply of the 60GB PS3 models. PR Head David Karraker elaborated on the quantity situation:
“We no longer have any inventory in SCEA warehouses. All inventory has been purchased and shipped to retailers,”
Gamesindustry.biz suggests that the USD $599 80GB PS3 may have it’s price dropped to $499 soon; like most of us alreadyknewthought. But don’t expect a price cut announcement any time soon because there is still an “ample supply left in the channel”
