I was really dreading loading up the new client and put it off until now. Now I know I was justified. Geez thats horrible in every way. Everything is uglier and just plain hard to find. The chat windows keep getting sent behind the screen...holy crap
Just looking through your collection is a chore. Now I have to import all the decks I made 1 by 1 by 1...I tried to play a game of solitaire and thats the ugliest of all...Didn't someone say at least there's better graphics? If so, what in the world are you talking about?
I always thought it would be hard to be a newb to MTGO and learn the game at the same time learning the client. But at least it was kinda intuitive. This is a clusterf*ck.
Is this the end of MTGO? Are any of you guys losing hope? Summer has been kinda getting in my way of getting online to play but actually it was just dreading this most of all. My first trial of the client tonight just hit me in the gut. It shouldn't be this much work to play a stupid game. I shouldn't have to "dread" it.
I hope to get on in the morning and see if I can find you guys. Getting a game going might be to much to hope for.

I'm playing it with 2 monitors, and that helps a lot to have the chat box and card view on the 2nd display. Yes, it's awful, but it lets us play Magic outside of the card shop, and with people that live far away, so it is better than nothing. Just forget it's 2014 and pretend we're back in the 90's and it won't seem so bad. ;-)

I must say i'm getting used to playing on the new client.
I really hated it after the first few games because there was too much crap i had to learn.
But when you get the hang of it you can focus on the game again and start having fun.
That is the most important part of this game for me...........having fun
