Weapon Platform Geth Trooper

We know the GT is a flamer. He gets into the mix and flames away. And that is reliable build.

But,

Why not use him as a weapons platform? Skip the flamer. Be a straight trooper and get your kills with guns. He is a tanky weapons platform with the combo of full fitness and fortification. And you can slap on two of your favorite guns and go nuts. No need to worry about cool downs. And you also get the damage boast from hunter mode.

Here is my current build.*

Of course it does require the ability to aim. And the rate of fire bonus works great with Hurricane/typhoon/harrier/(insert your favorite automatic weapon here).

*The hunter mode damage bonus is not factored into the weapons dmg. Also ammo type bonus was not factored in.

Currently Playing:

You should download the ME3 Manifest detailer for Chrome/Firefox. It will calculate the DPS for any gun in your inventory and it factors in the ammo types, powers, etc works well with that Narida Build site

This could be a good weapons platform if you wanna use those heavy ass weapons but from a pure DPS perspective the Turian Soldier, Destroyer and GI do it better.

For example here are the following DPS figures with a Harrier VIII with Assault Gear V, Rail Amp 3 and Incendiary IV Ammo utilizing a pure weapons based build:

GT (Your Build) - 4128.3

Destroyer - 4177.4

GI - 5701

TS (Marksman Active)- 5192.4

I don't disagree with the DPS part (excpet for the GI, is that post tc #'s?). What you get with is pretty high DPS plus HM bonuses, tankiness, speed and a dodge. The TS cannot dodge and his proxy mine has to fired outside of marksman (bad design). The destroyer with devestator mode is slow and cannot dodge. The GI is not as tanky and needs a cyclonic unless you want to play very carefully. I would say that if you want to play a tanky character minus a cyclonic and just run around a map and kill stuff this a great build. You can run around and not worry because of full fitness/fortification and HM (see through walls). Anyway, flamer is for noobs and scrubs that cannot shoot wink.

In the end it adds variety instead playing the same characters or character all the time. And variety is the spice of life.
